Beautiful place to have the wedding!

Such helpful and professional staff. Smooth process and seamless event. They thought of everything. 100% satisfied!

I had my wedding reception at the Saint Augustine Yacht Club and everyone there was great! Michael and me did all of our own planning and the Yacht Club folks made it easy because they new what we needed better than we did. Michael proposed to me on a beautiful day on the pier just outside the Yacht Club so having our reception there meant so much to us. I didn’t even know that they held wedding receptions. After Michael proposed he looked up at the Saint Augustine Lighthouse and said, “We’re going to get married up there.” And we did! I thought he was joking and had no idea that you even could. My flower girls dropped a path of white rose pedals and it was like a parade as everyone walked across the park, to the music of strolling violin playing from the Lighthouse to the Yacht Club. That was on November 20, 2010. I’ll never forget, as we were leaving the reception, our guests all stood on the front porch and lined the stairs to toss rice and rose pedals as we were leaving. Those are my favorite pictures – the one’s of Michael and me holding hands and running to the limo – because the façade of the Saint Augustine Yacht Club made the pictures perfect!

The site was beautiful but there were several promises that were not followed through on. My family ended up doing most of the set up that was promised by the club. We were suppose to have a keg - they only have half of one and ran out of beer halfway through the reception!
