My husband worked with jewelry artist, Klaus Spies, to design an engagement ring that is both reflective of my tastes and our relationship. It is a princess cut ring with a brushed white gold band. A square amethyst stone adorns the band and is edged in a contrasting yellow gold. I absolutely love my ring and look forward to a lifetime of wearing it!

My husband's wedding band is also one of Klaus's designs... a handsome silver band inlaid with a stripe of black ebony.

Klaus worked with me to alter a family ring that belonged to my great great grandmother so that it could be used as a wedding band that would complement the unique design of my engagement ring. He was careful to preserve the look of the original band while cutting it to match the shape of my engagement ring. I am very pleased with the results.
