About
When he was just eight years old, James Mahler (Spicy Violin) was hired by his older brother for his first wedding ceremony. Having done hundreds of weddings since then, James is something of a veteran when it comes to making people's big days extra special. Growing up classically trained is standard for violinists, however since his brother played a folk instrument, James would find himself at fiddling workshops, and a plethora of festivals where he got an even broader education. Combining those styles with his love for pop and electronic music, James has separated himself from the pack, believing that the violin is capable of so much more than what the vast majority are doing with it.
Since then, James has added tracks AND looping to his arsenal as a performer, making sure that no matter how long he plays, nobody will hear a single song repeat or get bored of the music. People have commented that he is not only fun to listen to, but also very fun to watch build up a song from scratch.
The vast majority of James' business over the years has been from word of mouth, which means he focuses his time on playing great music instead of advertising. If you came across this page, consider yourself lucky!
