"I had the distinct pleasure last night of photographing the Spectrum Band during their performance at the Coronado Ballroom in St. Louis, Mo. The music was absolutely superb, the atmosphere electric, and I had a front row seat! Spectrum Band is a professional 9-piece variety dance band that specializes in wedding receptions, corporate parties and public events in the St. Louis, Mo area; and, they have been doing it for over 20 years. I have to say; when I say they are good, I mean they are good! - As in REALLY REALLY GOOD! I could not recommend them highly enough for any event, especially weddings. Tim Callihan, the band leader, drummer and one of the original members, and I had been corresponding for several weeks on the subject of weddings and receptions. During the course of those conversations, Tim mentioned that they were needing some updated images for the website, and wanted to know if I was interested in shooting them. As it turned out, we had the time available and I have a policy to never turn down the opportunity to work with the best; and that is exactly what Spectrum Band is, the best.
