Shandi and Special Times were absolutely amazing and I not only recommend them, but would strongly encourage anyone to use Special Times as a caterer for their event. Special Times catered our June wedding. The food was absolutely delicious! We had guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Shandi and Mindy were great from the beginning, helping us come up with a menu and plan quickly and efficiently in our first meeting. They have been catering for a long time, and we had immediate confidence in their ability and that they were attentive to details. They were extremely responsive and helpful later on as well after we had booked them for our event. They went above and beyond. They had a pretty cake stand and cutting utensils we could use. When asked if gold plastic silverware could be used instead of the regular silver to match our colors, Shandi said no problem at all, she’d order some. Special Times set up all our table decorations and even our guest book table. This was abnormally difficult due to rainy weather earlier in the day, and then we were tied up catching up when we were fortunate enough to have great weather later in the day. Shandi and the special times staff really shined brightly in this crunch time to make our special time special. This was SO huge! And then later, Shandi even made sure wedding gifts were safe and put in our room. There were a few other wise on the fly decisions, such as due to wind we cut the cake a little early which worked out great. Every opportunity possible Special Times went above and beyond our expectations. You will be so happy going with Special Times.

Mindy Pritchard and her team don't miss a thing. They offer so many things to fit just about everyone's budget. The food is still being raved by our guests and some honestly thought the tri tip was a filet! You can't beat Special Times for a caterer for a wedding in Northern California. They are the best!

Mindy and her crew provided a beautiful meal for my wedding! We chose a meat option and a vegetarian option, and had 2 salads and an assortment of bread. They provided water, coffee and hot tea and cut our wedding cakes. The food was so delightful, and perfectly prepared, the philo wrapped chicken was amazing, and all my guests returned to the buffet line to pile up the delicious kale salad. Mindy was responsive, and immensely helpful, and I couldn't be happier with choosing them!

Can't say enough good things about Mindy and her team! First the food was amazing, presentation was beautiful, and Mindy helped everything to go seamlessly. From the moment I first met with her to the day of the wedding, I knew I could count on her for not just catering, but helping the entire day go smoothly, and rock solid advice on all things wedding! She helped with so many aspects of our wedding including planning and timing of the entire day, set up of centerpieces, even problem solving some issues that arose with wedding favors! Saying she went above and beyond is an understatement! Want to say a huge thank you to Mindy and her team! She's the best caterer you could ever ask for!

Mindy, the owner, is so knowledgeable and capable. From the first meeting it was clear she knew what she was talking about! She knows weddings and she knows her stuff with catering - she knows what guests like, what pairs well together, what kind of appetizers to serve in what kind of weather, etc. She was so helpful making all of these decisions and even helped with deciding how I wanted things set up for the day of. She handled rentals for us and kind of acted the role of a coordinator day of - she knew so much, we could send people to her and know things would be taken care of. I loved working with her- she takes her job seriously and makes a beautiful display of food to match your wedding, and it tastes DELICIOUS.

Owner, Mindy Pritchard, is very professional and such a blast to work with. She is very creative and great at what she does. When booking Mindy, not only do you get a fabulous caterer and staff, but also a 'Day of Coordinator' as well. If it wasn't for Mindy and her staff, our wedding would not have gone off as flawlessly as it did. Show coordinated everything from our bridal party entrance, toasts and cake cutting without any hesitation. This woman needs to open up her own full service wedding venue!

Mindy is the owner of Special Times Catering and she was so great to work with. She is open to your ideas but she is a very creative person herself. She can do just about anything with food. She is very professional and her food tastes wonderful because she makes it fresh at her banquet facility. I would definitely recommend Mindy to anyone who wants to have amazing food at their event!
