The quality of food these ladies deliver is amazing. We had the pasta bar that had the most delicious seafood pasta and mac and cheese that we have ever had. The presentation was appetizing and appealing. Lisa and Jonna were so helpful thoughout the whole process, going over everything for us, answering all our questions. I would not hesitate to use these wonderful ladies again and I highly recommend Special Occasions to all. Our venue was in Oregon City and that is probably a good 40 minutes from Woodburn. This was not a problem for them, they were there early and cleaned up everything afterward!!

This caterer was absolutely wonderful! She is a pleasure to work with and is very experienced. (30+ years!) The food was fantastic! Each dish that was prepared and served was just yummy! We have had people rave about the food, presentation and wonderful flavors for several weeks after the wedding. She is very professional and her prices cannot be beat. I priced numerous caterers in our area and the amount of food you get for the price is the best you will find anywhere, hands down. I can not say enough great things about the experience we had working with Special Occasions. I would highly recommend this vendor for your event, whether its a wedding, party, meeting or anniversary party. Everyone should use this caterer!

The cake was beautiful and delicious! We had a three-tiered cake and sheet cakes. All the flavors were amazing and the cake was light and moist.

These ladies are so wonderful! They give it to you straight with no nonsense. They understand not every bride can be skinny and make sure to make you feel awesome. It was quite a drive from my house to get out to Woodburn, but because these ladies were so kind, knowledgeable, and on the ball I did it several times. I even ordered my bridesmaid dresses through them as well. The dress was perfect and their expertise in helping my maid of honor get adjusted at such an affordable price was just amazing. They even gave me some netting to help make my veil for free!! Thank you ladies, I couldn't of done it without ya!!

Love love love them! They were sooo great and really affordable. I was very nervous about the food because everyone remembers it, but people are still talking about ours and sending compliments our way!!! They were early and everything was set up beautifully. Highly recommended!

They had a large menu to choose from. The Catering was professional, and the food was fantastic. The price was very buget friendly. The waiters were professionally dressed. Overall experience exceeded my expectations. Did not have to worry about anything.

We used Special Occasions for our catering, wedding cake, and alterations for my dress. We loved working with the lovely ladies of the shop, they were so helpful! They even have a special dinner night where you can come have dinner with them and try out some food and cake! They were extremely easy to work with and followed through on everything we asked! Their food was absolutely delicious, and everyone we've spoken to has raved about it! The only complaint I have is I discovered on the wedding day that they had put coconut on our wedding cake. My fiance and I never requested it, nor do I like coconut. We had penguin cake toppers, so we have a feeling they were trying to make the frosting look snowy, but we still would have appreciated being asked before they took this liberty. My alterations were well done, although working with the seamstress also had some frustrating moments. She did a wonderful job, but when she was originally fitting my dress, she would mumble to herself about how difficult my dress would be to hem and how much work it would be. It was awkward and made me feel as if I should apologize for my "difficult" wedding dress. I don't hold that against the ladies in the shop, and she followed through on the service I needed. I just would have liked the experience to be more comfortable. Overall, I would recommend Special Occasions.

We are not your average couple and when we asked for what we wanted in a cake, there was a bit of hesitance, but Lisa ended up doing what we wanted and she ROCKED it. We had soooo many compliment on the cake. And, it was so moist and yummy. She does not do fondant, only butter cream, which is better anyways. She has a bunch of flavors and filling to choose from, (strawberry champagne cake was amazing), and she is cheaper than so many other companies. Definitely recommend her cakes.
