It was not part of my initial plan to hire a coordinator as I thought I could handle running the day-of show myself. But as I got closer to my date, I realized how much I would need/prefer for someone to take the wheel and take the wheel Mel did! Mel was an excellent add to the perfect day- she was very communicative and helpful through my planning process and helped me troubleshoot all the obstacles I couldn't find my way around. I shared with her my vision for the my beach wedding and she and Shameka executed it to perfection. On the day before my wedding, the radar was showing a grim picture (Thunderstorms, high winds, hail) and she not only had backup plans on backup plans ready to go/act on, but she was also completely reassuring that even if all of the weather disasters struck, it would still be the greatest day. Luck had it that the weather was beautiful on my wedding day so Mel and Shameka were able to execute my vision to a tee. I didn't have a thing to worry about my whole day. Mel is a bride's champion, ready to do what it takes to make the day go as it it meant to, problem-solving and keeping blips off of my radar all the while. She also has VERY reasonable pricing for her services- worth every penny! Could not be happier that I decided to hire Mel because she was an integral part of the greatest day of my life. THIS NEW WIFE WOULD RECOMMEND SPECIAL DAYS WEDDINGS AND EVENTS!

Mel was so wonderful on our wedding day! Mel made me and my husband feel so at ease during the whole process and always made sure she was available when we needed to ask questions or had any concerns. My daughter recently got married and Mel was our rock. She was on top of everything but never made us feel like she was taking over. While she listened to our ideas and requests, she would offer up tips and advice when asked, using her years of experience to help my daughter's special day run seamlessly! After going through this experience, I know how important it is to make sure all your bases are covered and to feel secure in knowing you have done just that. Mel is the most wonderful person I could’ve hired for my wedding. She went above and beyond and honestly deserved so much more than she asked for payment. She made sure we had the best day regardless of anything that could’ve happened or any hiccups that got in our way. Mel is simply incredible! I got married on Ocean Isle Beach, and it was expected to rain for the entire day. Mel made me feel so calm and collected about it all. We rehearsed under the gazebo the night before, and somehow it was a beautiful and sunny day the next day. She quickly adjusted and we were able to have the wedding of our dreams because of all her hard work. She knows the area vendors so well and will do all the behind scene work for you! I was very nervous that my big day would not go how I wanted it, I don't know why, but I was just very stressed because I had everything planned a certain way. Mel and Shameka were both professional and helpful leading up to and during our wedding day! They wrangled us before and during + our guests and made sure everything went smoothly.
