Wow, where do I start?!! My husband and I got married last Saturday and one of the best decisions we made was hiring Southern Belle Events. My best advice to future brides- do not get married without Katie and Karin by your side! They made the whole experience for me, my husband, our wedding party, and families completely stress free. They had everything under control and I was able to relax the entire day and enjoy myself. I had 1 issue with my cake vendor and Katie and Karin took care of it so quickly, I hardly noticed the issue. They made sure all the vendors were there on time and the venue was set up exactly how we wanted it. They also kept us on time (including our groomsmen and my groom- thank you Katie and Karin for keeping up with these party animals and making sure they were on time ;-)
At the end of the night when we returned to our hotel room, everything was there waiting for us. It was so nice that we were able to leave the venue, enjoy our second line, then go out after without having to worry about getting back to the venue to pick up all of our belongings. The day was completely magical and perfect thanks to Southern Belle Events! I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you so much for everything Katie and Karin! <3 the Risks

I’m not a person who ever writes reviews or goes out of the way to be rude or unfair. I honestly hate having to write this, but our experience was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. We spent months going over the details of our ceremony, including multiple meetings where we very clearly explained the processional order. This wasn’t a minor detail—it was one of the most meaningful parts of the entire day. My wife’s brother was supposed to walk their mom down first, followed by bridesmaids, MOHs, then come back to walk the bride separately. We discussed this more than once and felt confident it was understood. That’s not what happened. Instead, the processional was handled differently in the moment, without checking with us, and it created confusion during one of the most important parts of the ceremony. The bride ended up walking down the aisle with her mom (who had a broken foot and was visibly limping and grimacing), which was never the plan. It was awkward, rushed, and confusing—not just to us, but to everyone involved. You can see it clearly in our photos and video, which makes it even harder to look back on. This wasn’t a small hiccup. It completely altered a moment we had put a lot of thought and emotion into—and one we can never get back. We were also told a rehearsal wasn’t necessary, which we trusted. What’s especially frustrating is that there was no follow-up after the wedding, and when we brought this up later, the response felt dismissive rather than accountable. We understand that no wedding is perfect. But forgetting or disregarding a clearly discussed, emotionally significant part of the ceremony is not something we expected from a professional. Because this was such a major event, we regret choosing Southern Belle Events for day-of coordination services.
