Sound of Elegance Harpist, Marissa Knaub Avon, makes her career as a professional performer and teacher. She performs for many weddings and other events as well as with local musical groups such as the Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Resonance Works, Edgewood Symphony, the Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh and other ensembles. She is the harp instructor at the Creative and Performing Arts middle and high school of the Pittsburgh Public School system and also maintains a private teaching studio. She is a graduate of Cleveland Institute of Music, Peabody Conservatory and Berklee College of Music.
