Having this DJ/MC contributed to making our wedding so much fun and truly memorable. I cannot express enough how much of a difference it makes having such a good DJ/ MC. There was no awkward moment, everything flowed seamlessly. I provided a few guidelines on music, but he took the reigns and played music everyone enjoyed. Having a good DJ makes a huge difference between a boring/mediocre wedding reception and a great one. I chose this DJ because he has been doing weddings for family & friends for several years, and each one has been amazing! Not one disappointment. Book him!! You and your guests will thoroughly enjoy yourselves.

We had soulful sounds for our wedding in 2020. My husband and I love live music and knew from our first couple of dates that if and when we get married we wanted a band to kick the party off.

Going down the rabbit hole of Instagram I found soulful sounds. Not having a date, venue or dress I knew we had to book them ASAP. Matthew was the point man I made contact with and he was AMAZING very thoughtful and attentive. Later meeting the full band at the wedding... they were all so professional and had great vibes. Soulful sounds remained part of all the guest follow up convos for weeks!

They will be at every event of ours from here on out lol. Thank you guys so much for making our day so amazing and unforgettable. Every time I hear songs that was played at the wedding I think of you all.

Soulful Sounds was really incredible at our wedding reception. Their professionalism and talent were beyond anything we could have hoped for. We were the couple that was indecisive about whether or not to go with a band or a DJ for months, and who asked countless questions over several phone meetings with Matthew, the band's saxophonist. But, by the end of our wedding day we realized that having a band was one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding. Soulful Sounds worked with us almost every week, and provided everything we wanted for our wedding reception and more. Also, they were ready and willing to travel from NJ to VA (on a holiday weekend)!

Our family and friends were JAMMING with them on the dance floor and we've received so many compliments about how much fun they had. The wedding was just perfect and unforgettable.

This band is AMAZING!!! Everything I thought they would be and more! MADE my wedding - Everyone is RAVING about them!! Can’t thank them enough for making my wedding so special !!! Even the staff at the Breakers was inquiring about them at breakfast the day after our wedding. We gave away every card we had. This was one of those situations where you read through 100 reviews, find a company with great feedback, and then use that company and see the reviews were correct. Soulful Sounds played and sang live music for my Wedding Ceremony and my Cocktail Hour. They were AMAZING! I got so many compliments on how great my band was. I gave them songs to learn about two months before the wedding, and they really got together to learn and practice the songs.
