My mother and Laura are childhood friends. When I was a little girl, I was the flower girl in the wedding of a family friend, and Laura played the harp during the ceremony. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen at the time; she played songs I'd only ever heard on the piano, so I was very impressed to hear them on the harp. It became a childhood dream on mine to have a harpist, preferably Laurie, during my wedding ceremony. And then I grew up and it was better than I imagined. Once I started planning my wedding I reached out to Laurie about her services. She really is capable of anything so I wasn't shy in asking her to try to play the theme music of a show my husband and I had recently finished that we thought was very beautiful and romantically sad. Not only was she able to, she said she's familiar with the original artist and loves his work! The piece could not be played on one harp alone, so her husband accompanied her on keyboard, honestly making it more special, the two of them sharing their love of music and their union as a couple at my wedding. Their performance was so beautiful, angelic, just how I imagined. We only had them play for the ceremony, not the cocktail hour, and our guests actually complained, saying they wanted more of the harpist. Thank you so much for making my dream come true Laurie!

I booked Laura through gigmasters.com. She is a wonderful harpist. She really helped me when deciding ceremony music. I am very non traditional person and she played wonderful selections for our ceremony. My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Katy Perry - Firework. It was truly a ceremony to my style. She does have a traditional song list as well. She is very pleasant, kind and takes her time with your wedding. She makes everything really special for you. She was absolutely the perfect piece to the ceremony. She really helped tie everything into place. She is very professionalism and reasonable in price.

Laura played the harp at our wedding while the guests were being seated, and during the processional and recessional. It was such a nice touch and Laura did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend!
