Sonesta Gwinnett Place is a luxury hotel wedding venue in Duluth, Georgia. Conveniently located within 30 minutes of Atlanta, this boutique hotel offers everything a couple needs to make their day memorable. They have an exceptional event staff to help to-be-weds plan their menu, set the right ambiance, and celebrate in style. They take pride in their commitment to customer service for all couples and offer packages for event booths large and small.

Facilities and Capacity

Sonesta Gwinnett Place offers indoor and outdoor facilities to host wedding celebrations. A picturesque outdoor terrace can host a casual, al-fresco cocktail hour or intimate reception. For a more formal setting, one of three stately ballrooms awaits the party. Each features a stylish carpeted floor, stunning crystal chandeliers, and room for a dance floor. The ballroom spaces can host between 150 and 650 guests. The property also has several salon rooms that are convenient for intimate gatherings including rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, or post-wedding brunches. Each venue can be decorated to suit the taste of those stepping down the aisle.

Services Offered

Sonesta Gwinnett Place offers custom wedding packages to suit every style and budget. These include Micromenies and Micro-Wedding packages that are ideal for intimate gatherings with smaller guest lists. Such packages include a range of options such as a video-link to share the big day online with loved ones from far and wide. The management is happy to help organize extras such as a photographer, a cake, floral arrangements, and much more. Micromenies are limited to a maximum of 25 guests, with micro-weddings hosting up to 50 friends and family. The staff will help couples create a personalized menu and decorate their chosen space.

Accommodations

Sonesta Gwinnett Place has 17 floors of luxury rooms that welcome guests after a day of celebrating. Suites are also available for the newly-married couple on their wedding night and offer spacious living areas and upgraded bathroom amenities. All guests receive complimentary WiFi access.

Our wedding venue at Sonesta was just perfect. We were more than pleased with the service staff and their professionalism. They went above and beyond to make us our guests feel welcomed. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their wedding at Sonesta

We enjoyed having our wedding at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place. Our guest out of town guest enjoyed the rooms. They were a nice size, clean and the staff was great. Jacklyn did a good job with anything we needed.

My wife Dorian and I had our wedding and reception at the Sonesta and it was everything we hoped for and so much more. The food, venue and quality of service was outstanding. Karen, our wedding coordinator was a pleasure to work with she and the entire hotel team were extremely kind, and professional. We highly recommend the Sonesta for any and all Weddings and events.

Beautiful Venue!, Great service, Great Food, Best Value

Hands down Sonesta Gwinnett is a great place for your special day! Karen and her staff are awesome! From start to finish, they were attentive to all the details and supportive of our vision for our wedding.

Let's face it , when it gets down to the last few days or hours before the wedding and things are coming together or ( not coming together) you need someone who has "your back" and can deliver. That person is Karen. She is organized and an experienced event planner. She is always professional and friendly.

We chose to have the ceremony and the reception at Sonesta and it was a great choice! They had several packages to choose from ( fits every budget). I found them to be very flexible.

I mean I could go on and on about my experience , but to sum it all up....If I had to do it all over again .... without reservation I would choose Sonesta again!

Jill Bish, the event coordinator for this Marriott, did an absolutely exquisite job in fulfilling my Indian (Hindu) themed wedding and reception. What "wowed" us during the venue decision making process was the fact she knew how to pronounce certain Hindi words and knew the meaning & background of a semi traditional yet modern wedding for our culture. She was very responsive especially right before the event. She catered to everything we wanted for our big day and made our day very special to us. Trust me the event coordinator definitely needs to have the skills you require for your special event and that involves coordination, timeliness, and knowledge of the event. I could not have been happier with my venue and thank you for hosting our big day! **HIGHLY recommended**

This place was reasonably priced, and I loved the fact that parking was not an issue for our 450-guest wedding! Jill Bish is incredible- she is organized and helpful, and goes above and beyond. The venue isn't the most beautiful place to get married, but it's clean, convenient, and affordable. Would definitely recommend this place!
