We booked Jen and her daughter Sarah for our destination wedding without meeting them. Jen was very responsive to answer questions. And I really loved her light/airy style and that she focused on capturing genuine moments rather than cheesy poses. My husband especially hates pictures so I didn’t want to make him further uncomfortable by hiring someone who would pose us awkwardly. Their price was also extremely affordable compared to other photographers that were recommended by our venue. The day of Jen and Sarah gave us very little direction and just let us be ourselves. We also barely noticed them at the wedding except during key moments (portraits, cake cutting). They were completely unobtrusive flies on the wall and the results were so many beautiful photos. They further blew us away after the wedding. My mom had ordered photos off the website link and couldn’t get them to crop properly and accidentally ordered photos of our heads cut off. Jen sent her a beautiful box of the photos (cropped correctly), wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon.

We just recently received our pictures back from Soltren Photography from our wedding on April 4th of this year. For those of you looking for a short review I will say that the pictures are gorgeous, I felt like a rockstar and they captured all of our most important moments from that day. Jen captured the shots that we requested along with hundreds of candid shots. Some of the pictures were so beautiful they made me tear up. She and Sarah (her daughter and extremely talented second photographer) captured not only the artistic, beautiful, magazine quality shots but also the candid, fun free spirited shots. They really captured the essence of our day and every time I look at the pictures I am so thankful we hired Soltren photography. Now the only problem I have is deciding which ones to blow up into canvas size, there are SO MANY amazing shots! Feedback/Communication: I prefer email communication and I think Jen prefers text/phone. What I REALLY appreciated is that I was able to share candid, honest feedback with her and even if she was upset, she NEVER showed it. She even sent me an email a few days before the pictures were ready just to let me know she was still working on them and hadn't forgotten about us. Summary: You will not regret a relationship with Soltren photography. There is a reason that you see all of Jen's clients returning to her with maternity pictures and family pictures. Once you have found the perfect photographer, you never need to look for another one.

At the end of your wedding, all you have is your photography to reflect and remember your big day. I am so lucky and grateful that we found Soltren through online reviews. Jen and Miguel met with us 6 months prior to our wedding to discuss their pricing and services. They were enthusiastic, professional, hard working and definitely very passionate about their work. For the day of the wedding, they were timely and followed a schedule that we put together 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding. They are such great people to work with, made us and all our guests so happy and comfortable in front of the camera. Soltren will provide you with all the photos online that you can download with a code they provide to you. Each of the photos were edited! We had over 1000 beautiful and breathtaking photos from our wedding day that we were all edited. Soltren went above and beyond.
