Documentation of my day was really important to me. The number one regret I have heard from others, is that they tried to save money during their wedding by hiring a very cheap photographer and ended up hating their photos. I knew this would not be me. I knew I could cut out programs, and favors, photobooths and sparklers, but I was adamant that I would have pictures that I would absolutely treasure. Then I found Katie.

The first time I met with Katie, we ended up talking for hours, about everything under the sun. She was an amazing human and her passion for her work was quite obvious. I knew I would book her without even seeing her prices. Then, after looking through her portfolio and falling in love with her talent, I saw her prices and couldn't book her fast enough. I was pumped!

We had our engagement pictures done at Devil's Lake, and Jordan and I left that session grinning ear to ear. I cried the day I got my engagement pictures because they were gorgeous, and I knew my wedding photos would be breathtaking. During this time Katie and Brieana decided to partner and open Solas & Kin Photography. They made the transition for us simple and gave us the utmost faith that everything would work out wonderfully.

Our wedding day came faster than we could believe and Katie and Brieana were fantastic. Of course we had stellar photos, but I can't help but emphasize how amazing these two are to work with. Their personalities compliment one another so well, and it makes way for an amazing experience overall. All of our guests and our bridal party could not help but fawn over these photographers. I even received calls and texts in the days following the wedding that were just emphasizing how pleased people were to work with Katie and Brieana.

Long story short, these two are doing exactly what they are meant to be doing. If you have the chance to work with them, you hands down need to take it. Your expectations will be far surpassed. Sure, maybe anyone can take a picture... but most people can't capture these important moments, and turn them into amazing pieces of art quite like Solas & Kin.
