We hired Sara for her full coordination package and it was the BEST decision we made in our entire planning process. We had a short, 6-month engagement, and had a small 30 person wedding due to COVID, but we did an elaborate live stream feed so there was still a lot to stress about. But Sara just made everything so easy! She handled the big stuff, the communication between vendors and the venue, the day-of timeline, she helped us choose a venue that was absolutely perfect that we didn’t even know existed, she ran the show on our wedding day so we could just enjoy everything, she was there for any questions we had and any bride freak out moments I had (hehe) and we even had her design all of the room decor and flowers. We had no idea what anything was going to look like until the rehearsal, and it was absolutely amazing. I could just go on and on all day on how wonderful Sara and So Chic Events are, and how blessed we are that she was a part of our day! It was everything we dreamed of!!

We had a tight timeline for the wedding - about six months. Sara helped take so much of the minutia off of our plate, and made it so much easier and so much less stressful than it otherwise would have been. We were able to focus on the things which were important to us, and she laid out everything we needed to do and when. She put together some wonderful designs and colors, coordinated with vendors, handled all of the added complexity and stress from COVID, and just made the whole day come together so beautifully. My husband and I booked the best wedding planner in my area and it was worth every penny. The venue my husband and I chose for our wedding ended up being less than ideal and a huge headache to deal with throughout our two year engagement. Sara has more knowledge and expertise about weddings and planning than I even thought was possible! I put my whole trust in her and what she thought would work and what wouldn't and she blew me out of the water! She was so sweet and kind to work with, felt like she was my backstage maid of honor. Where do I even begin to start with Sara? I first heard of Sara & So Chic Events a few years ago when I saw somebody else had hired her for their wedding. I remembered how beautiful she made their wedding reception.. and it WAS a dream reception. My wedding was a COVID wedding that was to be in May at a reception venue, but got pushed back to October. When COVID restrictions did not lighten, and our venue cancelled all events in the middle of summer, we moved our wedding to a shed/barn on my husband’s family farm. I knew I would not be able to do/handle everything on my own; rentals, decorating, planning an entirely new wedding, etc. I needed somebody with a creative mindset and positivity (which she definitely delivered on)! At that point, I reached out to Sara and was VERY happy to hear that she was available. From the very first meeting with her to the day of the wedding, Sara was consistent, helpful, and working harder than ever to make sure the stress would be off of us and that she was taking care of every large and small detail. I truly felt at ease and that we were in good hands when I left my first meeting with her. It is very hard having to postpone your wedding due to something that is out of your control, but we knew we had made the right decision in hiring her and that she would completely exceed our expectations. I wish we would have had even more time together, and that I would have hired her from the beginning, but I know I will always remember her as the person who went above and beyond for me/us, and made our day more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I truly have never seen anything like what she put together for us, it was the prettiest wedding I had ever been to and it was mine!!
