We were a little hesitant at first because we saw that DJ Zen had no reviews here at Wedding Wire. However, after a little more research via Google, and especially after talking with Zen, we knew that he was right DJ for us. His warm personality is genuine, he definitely knows music, and he really gets into his job. He was dancing behind his turntables just as much as we were -

I am writing this review to help warn all future brides and grooms out there, and to share our terrible experience with all of you so you don't have to make the same mistake we did. I wish I could give him zero stars! My husband and I hired this DJ for our wedding based on his low cost and because he made himself sound as though he was an experienced wedding DJ. Wow, were we wrong! I think he DJs for high school dances, but not weddings. He didn't know what he was doing. Boy what a mistake we made in hiring him! You get what you pay for is the true motto of our experience. I don't even want to relive all the terrible details of our day with regard to this DJ, but I will tell you he was late showing up to the venue to start off with. During the reception he left us hanging no less than 3 times trying to dance to our first dance as a couple. Our song stopped abruptly a quarter of the way through the song with our guests and ourselves left wondering what was going on. It was awful. We never did get to dance our 1st dance because, he never got it fixed. The music he played during dinner must have been left on repeat because we heard the same songs being played 2 or 3 times! I cried on my wedding night because we will never be able to go back and have our first dance together as husband and wife. My guests were apologizing to us because they felt so terrible. Everything else about our wedding day was absolutely amazing, and we wouldn't change a thing. The only thing we wish we could change is that we hired this DJ! He was unprofessional from the start, and almost completely ruined our beautiful day. Needless to say, stay away from this DJ!!!!!!!
