Easy going, experienced, and fun; Tamara does more than just document a couple's day. They act as another pair of hands to give advice while planning and their ultimate goal is to provide a stress-free process to their clients. Small Red Thread Photography wants its images to be honest, authentic, and intimate. They endeavor to showcase their clients' unique love narratives in innovative and sentimental ways.
They firmly believe that their job is one of the most important there is - having the responsibility (and privilege) of capturing some of the most important moments of your life! That is why they take a storytelling perspective with their photography; they want more for you than photographs of stiff poses and uncomfortable smiles. The best!
Tamara is AMAZING!!!! She is super flexible and will work hard to give you the photo experience you want. We used her for our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and we love her so much, I asked her to take headshots of me too. She does some truly beautiful editing. So many people have told me my wedding pictures are stunning. And they are right; the pictures are breath taking! You should definitely go with Tamara!!!

Best wedding photographer EVER!
After multiple attempts and cancelations from my previous photographer I was left scrambling with little time to get my engagement photos taken. With little time left and very low expectations at this point I began looking around for someone who looked like they could accomplish something close to my vision. There is no doubt about it that I’m in full bridezilla mode at this point of the engagement. I have a very specific vision for every little detail of my wedding especially my photography. I knew I wasn’t going to find anyone who would understand my vision at this point and I definitely gave up. I saw small red threads photos and I loved her editing style and saw it was very close to what I was looking for. I contacted her and she got back to me within minutes. She asked me more about my vision of the shoot than other photographers which instantly impressed me. She was down to travel to the location we wanted (unlike my other photographer 🙄)We booked a date and she showed up early so she could wander the property and find the perfect places to fit my vision. Oh, did I mention it began to rain and she didn’t complain at all. She continued to help us beat the rain to get the perfect shot. Knowing that we were on a time crunch to get the photos back she edited them in record timing and they beat my wildest expectations. She left my fiancé and I in tears. We love them so much and can’t wait to work with her again for our wedding. Thank you so much for making this bridezillas dreams come true!

Amazing work!
I love the photos Tamara took of our wedding! She was very easy to work with and I truly felt she cared about the work she was doing on the day of our wedding. Even before the wedding she was very easy to communicate with and definitely got the right idea of how we wanted our photos to turn out. I would recommend her to anyone who wants great photos and someone super sweet and easy to work with.

Amazing, talented, personable, exceeded all expectations
I loved working with Tamara for our small wedding and man did we throw her some curve balls!! As soon as we booked our wedding Tamara and I had a phone call discussing what I was looking for and made a schedule of when to send pictures and additional information over to her. The week of the wedding rain chances increased to over 80% and a couple of days before the wedding our wedding site contacted us saying the bathrooms were out of order; we ended up having to move our wedding to our backyard with only a few days to plan. I contacted Tamara worried that she would be perturbed by our sudden wedding location changes and the newer weather forecast. However, Tamara was amazing! She sent over an email right away after our phone conversation with pictures and inspirations for backyard weddings and shoots done in the rain, she also sent over a new schedule for the day. She reassured me that we would get the shots we needed and that the day would be beautiful. I will always be thankful for her reassurance this day and her hustle to reorganize our thoughts. Of course Tamara was awesome the day of the wedding and we were definitely on a tight schedule with our new location changes. We received a few BEAUTIFUL images the evening after our wedding. Tamara went above and beyond for this small wedding and we are so thankful! Her creativity and artwork are so impressive. We would be lucky to use her again for any future life events. Thank you Tamara for going above and beyond for us!
