Skylark Beach Inn

Skylark Beach Inn is an excellent wedding venue located in Old Orchard Beach Maine. Here you can say "I do" on the beach surrounded by beautiful views and the continuos crash of the ocean waves. Step directly onto the beach and enjoy seven miles of one of the best beaches in the State of Maine. Guests can enjoy direct beach access, stepping straight from the large grass patio, onto the beach dunes, and then directly into the ocean for a dip or swim.

It is a very short five( 5) minute walk on the beach to the center of the Town were you can find a large variety of options to eat or be entertained including restaurants bars, ice cream stores, fast food or gift stores. Directly across the street for the Motel (one (1) minute walk is an upscale Beergarden that offers quality beer and drinks, great pub food and several open firepits with both interior and exterior sitting and they often offer live music.

Facilities and Capacity

Skylark Beach Inn offers the largest grass patio on Old Orchard Beach.

The 100-foot oceanfront grass patio on the entire seven-mile beach is complete with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and three barbecue grills.

It is an exceptional outdoor setting for wedding celebrations that are small to medium in size.

The venue offers direct beach access just steps from your private door. Views of the Pier, lush flowers, and beautifully maintained lawn creating a naturally romantic setting for ceremonies and celebrations.

You and your guests can enjoy ocean views, fragrant natural beach roses, planters on site with annual flowers, and two large planters with annual flowers that bloom all season long.

We also offer outdoor grills, and glass lawn tables that sit underneath umbrellas on our grass patio,a two level shared deck, or your own private deck (based on accommodations).

It makes an idyllic spot for a wedding day that flows effortlessly from land to sea. Skylark Beach Inn offers a range of accommodation options, including kitchenette rooms, suites, and a spacious ocean view penthouse apartment.

We offer a Motel that has eighteen (18) Rooms, three (3) Suites, and one (1) Penthouse (located on the third floor). These accomodations can be reserved for a Wedding Venue.

Services Offered

The Skylark Beach Inn is tucked away on a quiet side street just three blocks from Town Center, offering easy access to the Pier, Palace Playland, and all the attractions Old Orchard Beach has to offer. Free WiFi is also available throughout the property for the convenience of all guests. Downtown, the Pier and plenty of amusements are all within easy walking distance.

We can arrange for wedding ceremonies, catering, a food truck, a large tent for the wedding reception, and possibly even a wedding ceremony directly on the sandy beach (dates permitting). It is even possible to obtain permission and a permit for a controlled fire pit for the reception directly on the beach.

We function as a Motel primarily therefore we have to schedule the wedding venue around the peak dates of operation with the Motel. We are offering the morth of October 2026 for weddings (this year) and we will be offering the months of May, June and September and October 2027 (for next year).
