Having our wedding reception at the Skaneateles Country Club was literally a dream come true. Words on a page cannot do justice to how beautiful it is. They recently renovated the whole outside patio area, and it just makes the whole thing breathtaking, and that's before you even factor in the incredible view! The staff at the country club (which recently transitioned management) is wonderful - kind, helpful, clearly experts, and just made me feel so HAPPY throughout the whole process. I know it should be obvious, but some vendors might just 'put in the time', but the staff at Skaneateles Country Club were literally like friends by the end. Our dinner tasting was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in months. We almost went with "The Lodge" at Welch Allyn - I'm so (so so so so so so) glad we didn't. The elegance, charm, and character of the country club is unmatched. Our wedding was a dream come true. There was even a rainbow just as cocktail hour ended and it [finally] stopped raining! (I heard they can special orders those...)
