Kristine (the owner of Simply Charming Socials) was the perfect planner to guide my husband and I through planning our small, 25-person backyard wedding/Atlanta restaurant sit-down dinner reception at Cooks and Soldiers. Her professionalism combined with her no-nonsense attitude (in the absolute BEST way possible), kindness, and quick wit made her the ideal person to trust with our big day. Her monthly check-in calls helped me stay organized and feel confident that we were on track for everything to get done not only on time, but ahead of schedule. Moreover, she is EXTREMELY detail oriented - no rock was left unturned throughout the entire planning process. She also came up with incredibly creative solutions to various obstacles that came up during planning - for example, we have a shed in our backyard that we were debating having temporarily moved and stored offsite since we our marraige ceremony took place in said backyard. Kristine had the brilliant idea of putting trellises alongside the shed and planting climbing roses instead of moving it - it was (1) cost effective and (2) a beautiful way to "hide" the shed while also investing in our backyard space. Simply brilliant, and something I wouldn't have thought of.

One really significant thing that I'm most thankful for is Kristine helping me make the call on whether to utilize our rain plan or not - throughout our monthly calls and our walk throughs, Kristine knew that the weather was the one thing that I was most nervous about with our wedding being outdoors. Bearing this in mind, she gently guided me through the pros and cons of whether to use our rain plan when the time to make the final decision came, gave me her professional opinion when I asked, but then let me make the ultimate decision. And she promised it would be a perfect day either way - and she was right :)

I cannot imagine a better wedding planner than Kristine. She was omnipresent for 18 months in all the ways you'd want her to be in a hybrid wedding planner/negotiator/couples therapist role. When the big day came, it almost felt weird having her there as a planner and not a guest - that's how close we felt to her by the time the day came. She won't disappoint, plain and simple.

Our family had the pleasure of working with Kristine and her incredibly capable and kind team for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. The plan, design, and coordination for our at-home event was simply stellar. Kristine was beyond helpful in all aspects of the planning - from the entire year of monthly meetings leading up to the event, to the tiny details on the big day. Kristine made sure our event was perfect, that my daughter had a voice in the process, and that everything went smoothly. Kristine and team were a recommendation for my sister's wedding in 2020, so when I got engaged a month later, it was a no brainer that I would also use Simply Charming Socials. I spoke with Kristine once a month for year with her sharing vendor recommendation, design ideas, and honestly helping me decide on what my perfect day would look like.
They are so detailed oriented and left no stone unturned. Each month call ended with an emailed list of 'to dos' to accomplish before you spoke next. Any questions I had I felt comfortable asking and they gave honest, thoughtful answers. I am an organized person with a background in events and when I say you need to have a planner, I mean it. Kristine, Jennifer and all the rest of her team were absolutely hands down the best decision we made during our wedding planning. She and her team were flawless. We got engaged in April of 2019 and were planning to have our wedding in October of 2020, but Covid had other plans. So we made the difficult decision to postpone until October of 2021. Kristine was there for us every step of the way. Of course it was an emotional time, and she was the peace we needed to help us navigate through it all. She answered all of my silly questions, and helped me think of all the details I did not think of to make our wedding day a dream come true.
