Shavon helped our special day go off without a hitch! The day of she made sure everything was in place or/and on time as expected. She coordinated with all our vendors to make sure set up was complete in a timely manner . She met with us weekly leading up to our event to give us a peace of mind that she had everything covered. She made sure the day of everyone in our bridal parties on time and ready to go by the start of ceremony. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her and her services.

Our experience with La Soirée Chic Events exceeded our expectations. From the first conversation over email to multiple phone calls and text messages owner, Shavon Hunter was committed to bringing our vision to life. We canceled our Destination Wedding in historic Jackson Square 6 weeks before our initial wedding date. Travel restrictions also prevented us from obtaining our marriage license in New Orleans. We felt like we were out of options to replan on such short notice. The bridal shop and my fiancé's tailor were also closed due to local COVID guidelines.

We took to Instagram and found inspiration from other couples that decided to press forward with their wedding. After speaking with Shavon and laying out the details and dilemmas with my dress and my fiance's tuxedo, she sprang into action. She called the bridal shop and managed to have the alterations finished overnight. Shavon pulled every detail together for our at-home garden wedding. I love and appreciate her for taking the reins of our plans and giving us a day that we'll remember forever. I felt like a dream bride. Working with Shavon was an absolute joy and I highly recommend her services. In the midst of COVID-19 I stumbled upon her Instagram page while searching for a companies that specialize in elopements. Due to the coronavirus we had to postpone our large celebration but still wanted to get married. Shavon made that happen for us! She provided all of the details needed in the lead up to the elopement day and was always an email or phone call away if we had any questions. Not knowing if we would be able to get married was such a scary feeling but Shavon took such great care of us and made our small elopement ceremony everything we could’ve possibly asked for and more! I know for a fact we will be using Shavon for a future event and we can’t wait to work with her again.

My husband wanted to plan my 40th birthday party and decided to seek out an event planner. I was on pins and needles because I am so used to planning the different events we have. I couldn't imagine leaving this up to someone else. I initially did a general search to find event planning companies in our area and spoke to a few different ones before having a chance to meet Shavon from La Soiree Chic Events. From our very first call with Shavon I knew we had hit the jackpot! I had so much nervous energy over planning a wedding, let alone a surprise wedding in another city.
