I could not have done any of this without Simcha's Events!

I consider myself to be a fairly competent person, so I thought that a wedding planner would be an unnecessary expense. I will be forever grateful to the friend who convinced me otherwise and recommended Simcha. Simcha was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. She is truly an expert, and I feel so fortunate that I was able to benefit from her wealth of knowledge and extensive contacts in the wedding industry. She recommended great vendors, helped communicate with them and review contracts, and gave fantastic advice about countless details that would never have occurred to me otherwise. She made the planning process much less stressful, and she was there to make sure that everyone was in the right place and everything ran on schedule on the wedding day. I can't recommend her highly enough.

We wanted something between day-of coordination and full-on wedding planning, and Jill gave us that in the best way possible. She pointed us in the direction of good vendors when we got stuck, helped us know what questions to ask and what to watch out for before we signed contracts, and brainstormed creative ways to achieve our vision within our budget. As the day got closer, right when people started asking questions about details I never knew I needed to worry about (and didn't want to learn), she took all the orchestration of the various vendors and key players off our shoulders. You could tell what a professional she is, and what a good reputation she has, by how everyone knew her and was very happy/relieved to know she was their point of contact.

On the day of, she made sure everything ran so smoothly, in such a fun and lovely way, that I got compliments about her from everyone involved. Including family members who _hate_ being told what to do. ;-) Meanwhile, by then I trusted her so much that I turned all the hostessing headache over to her and just had a blast.

I thought going into this that there was no need for a planner - I'm organized and I know how to use the internet. But after working with Jill I can say it was the best investment we made.

Selecting Simcha's Events (and Alix-Ann O'Brien) as my wedding coordinator was the best decision I made. Working with Alix was so much fun. She totally understood my vision for my wedding and helped me come up with the most creative solutions. Alix went above and beyond SO many times. And our day turned out perfectly! I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Alix-Ann and Simcha's Events to anyone planning a wedding or another type of big event! Super professional, fun, creative and willing to go the extra mile. Plus best of all, everyone in my family got to be a guest at my wedding.

We started our planning about a year ago and knew from the onset that we needed help. We met with Simcha to discuss the various options and knew we needed them to hand hold us through the entire process. We ended up using Jill as our planner and could not have made a better choice. She was creative, responsive and kept the budget in line. She listened to what we wanted and presented to us only those vendors she felt could meet our objectives. We ended up selecting the first vendor in each category which saved us a lot of time. She made the process fun and enjoyable. We felt as if she was vested in our event as much as she would be in planning her own.

Simcha's Events were thorough and professional from the moment we met. They assisted us in planning the most beautiful well run wedding and wedding weekend. I truly could never say enough positive things about Simcha. From the very first meeting with Simcha, she told my mom and I (the bride) that her goal was to make this process as stress free as possible. She did that and so much more. Everyone kept telling me how stressful the wedding planning process was, and I honestly never felt overwhelmed with Simcha by our side. I honestly feel that I enjoyed every moment of wedding planning because Simcha made it so easy and fun.
