Hire shauna & her team!
Shauna took the time to meet with us many times to make sure we had everything right. And when some things inevitably went sideways - out of her teams control (i.e. our bakery never made our sheet cakes/delivered them) - her team stepped up and figured out solutions. In fact, I didn't even know until a few days after our wedding!
Shauna truly went out of her way to make sure no ask of ours was too big and on the day-of her team was there for anything us, or our families, needed. I could not recommend Shauna and her team more highly!

My name is Shauna. I have always loved getting the family together to celebrate all of our milestones. Once my family and friends started getting engaged, I started managing and planning weddings as a hobby. I stepped away from my career in special education in 2019 to run a wedding venue. I love managing and planning weddings and all sorts of events. I decided to start my own business, aRay of Events, in 2021 to continue serving my clients though Event Planning and Wedding Management.

I started off planning events for family and friends, and became a professional wedding coordinator in September 2020. Planning and organizing is truly my happy place! I have known Shauna for over 20 years, and was so excited to be able to work for her when she started her own business. I got married on Halloween in 2016, have two amazing children and two dogs! Most of my days are filled with family, I have a passion for tacos and love to read! I cant wait to help you with your next event!

Wifey, Momma of three, and event planning/decorating enthusiast! My love for both started my junior year of high school when I was part of our prom planning committee. Fun Fact: I also attended Shauna's wedding that year! I’m a “planner” by nature and enjoy seeing those plans come together. I’ve always thought of wedding planning as a dream job! Like other brides, I was planning my wedding even before my husband and I started dating. My heart is to serve others by helping both brides and grooms have their special day turn out better than they could have ever imagined!
