History
Silver Queen Farm owner Gordie Gallup had long dreamt of owning a working farm with a house on it for family to live. He worked as a home builder for 30 years, and used that experience to create his perfect family home and the stunningly charming wedding barn. Over the course of several decades and with the help of his two daughters, Gordie has finally achieved his dream.
Location
Silver Queen Farm is located between Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Nearby, there are several wineries, restaurants, and plenty of beautiful views. The working farm grows strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, potatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, tomatillos, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, lettuce, cabbage, winter squash, corn, pumpkins, and more, for local farm to table restaurants, making for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
