Sidewalk Digital Media was founded by Cam Carrithers and we love putting together projects. Sidewalk began in 2003 and offers services in video, photos, digital media consulting and post production. Over the years, Sidewalk has worked on projects for weddings, various other events, celebrations, and for various of networks in English and en Español. We provide services for:

We have managed video, photo, and digital projects for more than twelve years in different parts of the world in both English and en Español while being based in Chapel Hill, NC. We have an extensive list of professionals that we have good friendships and working relationships with that we bring onto projects that require more than just one person. We are positive thinking from beginning to end and do everything we can to make your project what you are hoping for.

Our specific service offerings are the following: If you need any type of videos produced for events (festivals, weddings, quinceañeras, or any others), campaigns, promotions, documentaries, commercial spots, music videos, and any others please contact us. We can bring your project to completion in a realistic and fun way from the preproduction and filming stages to the editing stage.

For any photography services you can think of we can do for you too photographing events (festivals, weddings, quinceañeras, or any other live events), campaigns, documentary projects, portraits, and everything you can think of. We specialize in still photography postproduction (photo restoration, resizing and enlarging digital images, color improvements to already made images, and scanning) as well and anything else you can think of that you would like worked on for photography.

Sidewalk was put together by Cam Carrithers who is a video director/producer/editor based in Chapel Hill, NC. He has produced projects for washingtonpost.com, rollingstone.com, Merge Records, MTV, ABC, a Fulbright-sponsored documentary in Grahamstown, South Africa, and others. He teaches video production throughout his community and in 2011 he was an instructor at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. Cam works as a still photographer as well for various publications and does photography postproduction. His photographs have appeared in publications including washingtonpost.com, USA Today, The Associated Press, Transworld Snowboarding Magazine, UNC Carolina Global, Carolina Alumni Review Magazine, and others.

He graduated with a BA from the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication in visual communication, attended the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado Boulder in advertising, and he received an AA from Colorado Mountain College. His career began after a picture editing internship at National Geographic Adventure.

In 2013, Cam won first place in the Carolina Global Center International Photography Exhibit, a William Randolph Hearst Award while attending the University of North Carolina, and many others over the years. Thanks so much!
