Shoshana Sutkin is a reportage-style wedding film photographer based out of Herndon, Virginia. She is available for travel and loves to work with couples of all sizes and kinds for weddings. Her aim is to create lasting artifacts of your family history, images that tell your story for years to come.

Services Offered

Shoshana works with 35mm and medium format film and is inspired by the process of analog photography. Her portfolio speaks for itself, and you can rest assured that she will put together images that can be passed down through generations.

A wonderful photographer!

We are so grateful we had Shoshana photograph our courthouse wedding! Not only is she incredibly lovely, she has an amazing artistic eye. We really wanted documentary style photos - nothing too staged. We wanted photos that evoked emotion and were organic. Shoshana delivered! We absolutely adore our photos and will treasure them always. She was also extremely communicative, punctual and enthusiastic. You know she loves what she does and she gives so much of herself to her craft. We can’t recommend her enough!

Wonderful engagement photo experience

Shoshana was the perfect person to take our engagement photos on a moody rainy day. She is incredibly easygoing and it felt like having a real friend along for the ride with us. A special photographer who

Shoshana is a gifted photographer who has a knack for capturing the atmosphere of those rare, unique moments on film. I couldn't be happier with the photographs she took on our wedding day. We received a gorgeous mix of color and black-and-white photographs, and they tell the story of the day. Looking back at them brings so many fun memories!

Working with Shoshana was easy and a great experience. She listened to what we liked and didn't like, and provided examples of what the photographs could look like to ensure we were happy.
