My bridesmaid’s and mothers’ hair were done at Shimmer Day Spa. We booked our appointment with them 2 weeks before the wedding and they were so accommodating. They fit 7 appointments in 2 hours and everyone’s hair looked amazing! They also had a separate and huge room where we could do our makeup while we were waiting. This was so much better than trying to do our makeup in the hotel. It made the experience so fun and I still can’t believe how quickly they got everyone’s hair done.

Grace and her wonderful staff did the hair and make-up for my bridal party and me. We had a great experience overall while at the salon! Loved my hair and make-up along with my bridal party!!

When newly engaged friends and family members ask me "which vendors would you still hire if you had to plan your wedding all over again" the team at Shimmer is always at the top of my list. Without a doubt, our special day just wouldn't have been the same without them! Due to several years of health problems I had lost a good amount of my hair and as my wedding approached I was very insecure about it. Grace and the other stylists at Shimmer reassured me that they would make my hair look great on my wedding day and they definitely delivered ... my hair looked better than I think it EVER did before getting sick! They were all very patient while I tried about a million different hairstyles during two days of hair trials. In the end, I was so impressed with their ability to take my "vision" for my wedding day, my personality, style, etc. and somehow magically translate that into a look that I never would have thought to ask for but was exactly what I wanted! My bridesmaids and family members were all equally happy with their hair on my wedding day, including a finicky grandmother who has never left the salon happy and a maid of honor who said her hair just "couldn't be curled"! They were always on-time and professional, and I especially appreciated how well they were able to work with my other vendors, some of whom were not easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the area. There are so many little things that can go wrong on your wedding day, and I was just so relieved that I never once had to worry that my hair would be one of those things! I just loved it :)
