Shawna was recommended to us by a friend who has used her several times for family photos. We met with a few other photographers before meeting Shawna and we definitely made the right choice! We first met for engagement photos which were complimentary with our wedding package, and came out so great! Shawna was so easy-going and fun to work with, and flexible. We kept in touch throughout the year, and Shawna took the time to ask us questions and really try to get to know us as a couple, so by the time the wedding came around, we really felt like we knew her, which made the whole process more personal. She is a very talented photographer--didn't miss a thing! The photos are amazing! The turnaround time was fast! The price was what we expected and worth every penny. We will be seeing Shawna again for sure!

Shawna was professional, timely, organized, and incredibly flexible! She captured some amazing pictures, put everyone at ease with her gentle and humorous nature, and took some FANTASTIC shots! She listened to everything we wanted, and even with pressure from the venue, advocated for us and got the shots we needed :) Worth every single penny!

Shawna captured the beauty of our wedding day perfectly. Our photos are stunning. Our family and friends loved working with her as much as we did. I also love the fact that for our engagement pictures we could pick any location that we wanted, and Shawna didn’t even hesitate to go there. The price was amazing too.

BEWARE of Shawna Shenette's prices!!!!! There is a reason they are not posted on her web site. ONE "digital file" (which means ONE picture) is $300.00!!! Not one cd, one picture. She explained that she has an expensive camera & that is part of how she justifies her prices. Her work was fair. Our photos were not very creative or artistic as I was hoping for. My iPhone has taken better pictures. She also cancelled our photo shoot two hours before we were leaving to meet her because she told me her daughter was ill. Being a mother, I was disappointed but completely understood. When it came up later, she told me it was cancelled due to weather conditions. (It was beautiful out the day she cancelled.) Funny because I have a voicemail from her apologizing for her daughter's illness. When it was rescheduled, she was late to our shoot! It took two months for the images! With digital photography, there is no excuse for two months to just view the images. Shawna found one...she said she was "back logged," I would not recommend her.
