I'm not sure where to start in reviewing Shannon and her work, other than to tell you that she was perfect for us from the first moment my husband and I met her.

I had my wallet stolen the evening before we were supposed to meet/interview Shannon. I wasn't in the best of moods, we had already interviewed quite a few photographers (none of whom felt very exciting or worth the $$ they were charging), but I knew the meeting would be the right distraction I needed that Saturday morning. Shannon was a dream, from the start. We met in Boston (where my husband and I live), and talked for close to two hours. It was probably close to an hour before we even started talking about photography and the wedding -- which was after I knew she would be the person we hired.

She includes and engagement session in her packages -- which I would recommend for EVERYONE. If one or both of you are very shy and not a fan of having your picture taken -- HIRE SHANNON. Seriously. My husband is extraordinarily shy, and not a fan of having his picture taken. He felt comfortable and at ease with Shannon from the start -- and Shannon has produced the most AMAZING pictures of him! Candid and at ease, structured and posed and STILL at ease. She is a natural at what she does, and makes the entire process so much fun!

If you're looking for someone who loves what they do, at an amazingly affordable price, and someone who will take the time to get to know you and use that knowledge to produce incredible pictures, Shannon is the one for you.

The pictures are the one piece of your wedding that will last forever (besides the marriage itself of course!) and Shannon knows how to create timeless and breathtaking photos you will WANT to look at for decades to come. You won't regret it!

Shannon did a great job with our wedding photography. I was an out-of-town Bride and found Shannon on wedding wire. I did not need to meet with Shannon before booking because after reading her reviews and seeing her portfolio I knew she was a great fit for us. Shannon was very responsive and we were in communication from 9 months prior to the wedding, until the day of. She was professional and had great suggestions for the flow of the wedding day. She was friendly and knew our wedding party and family by names which was helpful. We definitely recommend Shannon for your wedding photography!

I was interested in getting some fun post-wedding shots, and Shannon's prices seemed very reasonable. Leading up to the day of the shoot, she had excellent communication and she was very professional. On the day of the shoot, my husband and I spent about an hour with Shannon. She took a ton of pictures, and between shots, we were talking and laughing like she was someone that we hadn't just met in the parking lot. She made the experience a lot of fun, and her pictures came out great. Several people commented that it was too bad we didn't hire her as our wedding photographer! We were really glad that we had the opportunity to work with Shannon, and I'd definitely recommend her for a Rock the Frock shoot, or anything else.
