Our experience with Shannon was so wonderful. She was on time, prepared, and very accommodating to what photos we wanted/didn’t want. My husband and I both don’t particularly like having our photos taken, but Shannon made us feel super comfortable in every photo! Her ability to capture special moments made our wedding so incredible. Shannon has incredible taste and made our day so special. We will cherish all of our amazing wedding photos for forever and ever!

From our very first meeting with Shannon, everything just felt right. She is incredibly genuine, kind, and caring. You can tell that she truly loves what she does. She listened to all of my "wants" and handled my 1000 questions with grace. Shannon was more than willing to travel to the mountains for our engagement session, which is the 1st time we worked with her in person. She did an incredibly good job at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera within just a few minutes. Our engagement photos were beautiful which made us even more excited for our wedding photos. Day of the wedding Shannon and her assistant, Colleen, showed up on time and ready to go. Shannon was by my side from start to finish while Colleen stuck with the groom and groomsmen. They were both incredibly patient with family photos and walked us through our "must haves" poses as well as many others for our portraits. Shannon stayed close by the rest of the evening as we danced the night away. She captured our day perfectly. Our photos are stunning. I can't wait to look back on these for years to come. In addition to her amazing eye for detail, lighting, and positioning... Shannon is also just an amazing person. On one of the most stressful weekends of our lives, she helped us relax and stay focused on the amazing day we had ahead of us. She was prompt, professional, and carried herself with a relaxed confidence that helped us keep cool. She also did great keeping up with our wedding timelines and got all of the shots she needed. Her second cameraman John was also fantastic and easy to talk to. They also worked well with our other vendors.

Shannon solidified a perfect day for us. We will always be able to look back on that day and feel the feelings we felt then. With an earnest heart, you would be doing yourself a favor having Shannon Hennessey and her staff on the job.

Shannon was hands down the most amazing photographer. She went above and beyond to get the most beautiful shots on our wedding day and for our engagement shoot. We had the pleasure of Shannon photographing both our COVID mountain wedding last March and then our celebration at Fairview Farm Events earlier this month and we can not say enough good things about our experiences! She was extremely professional but also made us feel like she was a good friend allowing us to feel comfortable behind her camera! We got our whole wedding album just 2 weeks after our wedding and the quality and love she captured in our photos we will cherish for a lifetime.

I wound write a long review about how beautiful Shannon’s photos are, but we all already know that! I would 100% recommend Shannon for any wedding, event, photo shoot, family photo session or just about anything to be completely honest because she’s just the type of person that everyone loves to be around! She is so easy and fun to work with. After the wedding, everyone in our wedding party kept telling us how sweet, fun, and professional Shannon was! My new husband and I had never gotten professional photos done together prior to our engagement session and wedding so we were newbies but Shannon knew the exact poses and angles needed the get the greatest photos! Our wedding was scheduled to be finished at 10pm and per our contract we only hired Shannon until 9:30pm, but she stayed the extra half hour free of charge just to get the sparkler send off shots! Generally, Shannon works alone and doesn’t have a second photographer, but don’t be nervous about that! That girl takes SOOO many photos and the quality is amazing! The photos speak for themselves. I can’t wait to hire Shannon again in the future!

We choose Shannon Hennessey photography after meeting her over 5 years ago when she photographed our friend’s wedding. Since that day and seeing her work I knew that when that day came for me and my now Husband we would only want to use her. Over 5 years later...April of 2019 we got engaged and I reached out to Shannon immediately. She responded right away, and we were booked! I was overly excited to have her be a part of our Wedding adventure. She is absolutely the BEST in the business, and she knows exactly what she is doing. Not only does she have the talent, but her personality makes working with her even better. My husband is not one for the camera and the pictures that she captures are outstanding! When we showed up to our engagement pictures, which we traveled over 2 hours away for, I forgot all my jeans at home for my outfit and without hesitating she changed into my yoga pants and gave me her jeans to wear, she was a true lifesaver that day and such an amazing friend. We got married in Hilton Head, SC this May 2021 and she traveled down there with us and captured our whole wedding weekend perfectly. I could not be happier with the outcome of all our pictures we received back, there is honestly not one bad one out of 2000 some pictures. She made me feel absolutely beautiful in every picture taken and I only would recommend her to anyone I know. We plan on continuing to use Shannon as we move through life with all memories to capture to come.
