With a journalistic background and over 15 years of experience as a wedding cinematographer, Shai Hazan uses his expertise to creatively capture the brimming excitement and emotion of a couple’s wedding day. Shai Hazan Films uses a documentary style of cinematography to celebrate—and showcase—what makes each couple unique.

Experience
Shai Hazan studied cinematography and photography at the College of Art in Israel. He started his film and photography career working at a newspaper and news station before deciding to apply that same documentary style to wedding films.

Most Professional Work Yet

His work was superb. I've had other events before such as birthdays, a bar mitzvah and other events in my Malibu pad. The birthdays I've had different people for but for my Niece's 9th birthday i found Shai through a close friend who had a wedding done and I myself was engaged at the time. I gave him a shot at her party which turned out so good we had him do my cousins bar mitzvah. I finally had him come by for my wedding and i couldn't have been happier. Thank you Shai from me and Claudia!

Great Experience with Shai

Shai videoed the ceremony andwedding of my daughter and did an excellent job. He was easy and responsible to work with and the video turned out amazing. Will highly recommend him!

Shai did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. We barely noticed him during the event, which means we weren’t thinking about or stressing about getting good shots, but the video turned out fantastic, which can only mean that he is a ninja! You will not regret hiring Shai for your next event, he is the most personable and professional videographer that we’ve ever met. He’s super easy to work with and will go to great lengths to make sure you’re happy with the end result. He is always available for any questions, even on a Sunday night at 8pm.

Shai's videography is amazing! He really captured our day and had lots of ideas for poses and landscape shots we would not have imagined ourselves. Those that couldn't be in person at the wedding got a perfect glimpse of our day just by the shareable clip alone. His style is professional, unique and amazing. Everyone who sees the clip compliments our wedding (of course ;) but always mention the great quality of the videography. Thank you! Roey & Michelle

Our experience with Shai was wonderful from our first meeting. He was patient, attentive, creative and supportive. Besides filming our wedding he also helped us create a unique video invitation for our wedding. Our guests LOVED it!! Shai met us multiple times to make sure things will be exactly how we like it. He helped up come up with cool ideas and helped us execute those. During the day of the wedding he was there from the morning until the last guest left! Our 3-minute video from our wedding was beyond anything we could have expected!!! We are so grateful we chose Shai to do the job!! We highly highly highly recommend him!!

Shai is the most professional videographer I have ever seen for a wedding, and I have been in a lot of weddings! I was the maid of honor for my sister's birthday. Shai was professional in his demeanor, his punctuality, and in the video he produced. He is very creative, he tailored everything to what my sister asked for, but made it even better. He does not just put together a video, he puts together a movie, a love story. My family and I are so grateful for his professionalism and flexibility. At one point, he was even calming me down because I was so stressed. He made everything very easy. We loved the love story video he put together before the wedding. I wish I could upload the video here, but I don't know how to! He is worth every penny and more. Thank you, Shai!
