We stayed at Shadow Mountain Escapes, Luray VA for 5 nights in October. There are 4 cabins plus the owner's home on 15 acres across the street from Shenandoah National Park. This is an amazing place to just be a couple. The cabins have full kitchens (minus dishwasher), a gas fireplace, dish tv, bedroom, sitting rooms, and a full bathroom. Karen, the owner, delivers fresh, amazing, baked goods during your stay. The deer wonder about freely and the views are beautiful! Close to Luray Caverns, the Appalachian Trail, antiquing, wine and distillery tours, and a near by coffee roasting company. I can't say enough wonderful things about this perfect honeymoon location!
