Korina is spectacular! My husband and I hired Korina after finding her through our venue, Monserate Winery. We went with her 3 month wedding coordination package. This worked out perfectly, as she was able to handle all of the last minute logistics, while we entered the final stage of preparation. She was always very prompt and professional with her responses, even in the early months of planning. Despite going with a smaller package, she never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or being too needy. On our wedding day, Korina and her team did not miss any details. I am sure there are so many things she handled that I didn't even know about, which is a very comforting feeling as the bride. Our wedding day ran smoothly and on time, and I know Korina and her team are largely to thank for this. While, I am not planning on getting married again, I'd hire Korina and her team 100 times over!

We worked with Korina for well over a year. We truly couldn’t have pulled any of it off without her. She has the best vendor connections and provides a calm presence during the entire planning and event process. In the words of my new father-in-law, “whatever you’re paying her- it’s worth it!”. She doesn’t judge you for changing your mind a million times, she knows how to handle every situation, and she has thought of every detail. So many of our guests said that we had one of the best weddings they’ve been to, and I would attribute that to Korina’s talents and taste.

She was always quick to respond, and I can’t overstate how reassuring it was to have her guidance throughout the whole process.

Korina is nothing short of a wedding miracle worker! My husband and I live in Dallas, TX and decided to get married in San Diego, CA. We wanted a "destination" wedding without going out of the country. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming, but having Korina by our side made it an absolute dream. Korina and her assistant Ashley blended both professionalism and familiarity in their working style. Korina is personable, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Importantly, she initiated communication amongst all our vendors without us needing to ask her to do so. Amidst the busy summer wedding season of 2024, Korina was immediately responsive, constantly flexible, and tracked even the most minute details we asked of her. She answered our questions using her expertise and if there was something we had to find out, she was quick ​in response and immediate to action. For the wedding reception day, she notated which seats were for the young guests so as to remember where the coloring pages were to be placed, she was instrumental in placing each individual gift bag to match the names of our guests in their appropriate seats, and she was even our personal bodyguard during our 10 minutes of eating in peace! Korina's impact was so incredible that we completely forgot there were things we were supposed to worry about on the day of! Korina made us feel at home during a time of potential chaos and multiple moving parts. Our experience would not have shined as much as it did without Korina's leadership and behind-the-scenes work. And to think that she found our 150-guest reception to be a piece of cake. Imagine how much potential she has with your next event!

My biggest regret is I wish I selected Korina's Planning and Design package! For your sanity, planning a whole wedding is stressful on your own and you will need some help. I selected her Wedding Management package at the time and turn of the events, I found out I was having a bundle of joy on the way and was too exhausted to plan with only two months away from the wedding date. Not sure how I did it at all, but Korina helped me get through it and she is always so professional. I don't know how in the world I would have done it without her! Korina and her team, Giselle and Ashley, goes above and beyond for you. Yes you!

During the pre-wedding months, she will communicate with all your vendors for you and create a wedding timeline so everyone knows what time, when, and where to meet. This will save you so much time and my advice is not to do this on your own. You will have so many other things to worry about. The day of your wedding, they will help setup your table design working alongside your florist and venue staff. It was perfection. They pay attention to detail and knew exactly what I wanted. My wedding was perfect all because of them. The only thing you have to worry about is getting ready and taking your gorgeous photos. At the end of the night, they will also pack everything for you and drop it off your hotel room so all you have to do is just head to your wedding after party.

Quality of service is amazing and worth every penny. Korina is so kind, sweet, and personable too. All of my vendors loved working with her as did I. My wedding went smoothly because of her and I was able to enjoy celebrating my wedding day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Korina, Giselle, and Ashley.

My husband and I were working with another planner prior to Korina , however we met through the referral of my photographer and it was the best decision for our wedding . From the initial phone conversation I knew I wanted to work with her because she was excited to make our vision her vision. Korina is based in the San Diego area but that did not stop her commitment to traveling to Hollywood for our wedding.
She was contracted as a “day of coordinator”, but in all honesty her commitment and professionalism far exceeded one day. She was responsive to texts, phone calls, in person walks throughs, and dress rehearsals. We were truly grateful to provide all the details and have her tie it together with a bow. Truly, I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her and her staff by our side. Thank you again Korina, I now have the wedding blues and miss planning everyday with you !

Where do I even start?! Korina and her team are truly the best of the best - not just at what they do, but in who they are! I went in to wedding planning thinking I could do it all on my own and I wouldn’t need a coordinator and as the date got closer - I realized I definitely needed the help! Korina truly took all of the stress away from me during the months leading up to my wedding and on the day of! She is so organized, kind and truly goes above and beyond. She made our day so special and I know it wouldn’t have been as seamless without her! I created a lot of my own decor - which comes with a lot of set up and break down. My husband, Kap and I got engaged 5/5/21 in San Diego where we recently settled down. The first and hardest decision to start wedding planning, was finding the right team. We searched through at least 20 different wedding planning teams. We got referred to Korina and the moment we met - we clicked. She just got our vision and was so invested in us as a couple. We got married on 5/5/23 so, we worked together very closely for two years!!

We decided to go with the full planning package. And it was worth every penny. When Kap and I talk about our wedding, we say Korina was the best $$ we spent. She spent a ton of time with over over a few years and kept us on track in our planning process.

Korina and her team are extremely detail oriented and layed out the planning process in an easy manner. She used a software to keep us organized and it broke down each step into a task. This was HUGE because my husband and I had crazy work hours during our planning process. So we could log in anytime to see based on how far out we were, what needed to be accomplished.

We chose Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla for our venue. It was beautiful but, you have to bring in all your own vendors which felt a bit overwhelming. Luckily, Korina and her team have a great reputation so, she had an amazing list of vendors she introduced us too. So, we had a handful recommended to us so, we could easily choose which one fit our budget and our vision. She also helped us prioritize where we wanted our money to go based on what we cared about most - like photography and rental design.

One of the hardest things to find in a wedding planning team, is the ‘human aspect’ — this means someone who genuinely cares about you as a couple and to help you create the wedding of your dreams. During our planning process, I lost my dad. She sent some flowers and gave me some space when I needed it the most. (Literally crying thinking about how nice this was). She was so kind.

Having a wedding can sometimes mean a lot of people in your life have a lot of opinions. Kap and I wanted to have a lot of non traditional things about our wedding. We made the wedding about us and our love versus focusing on the traditional things you are ‘suppose’ to have. She made this so easy and simple and supported us in every way. She helped plan our timeline down to the MINUTE! This made it easy for us to enjoy every minute and eachother throughout the day!


Last but definitely not least, Korina has an EYE for design. Outside of our love being front and center, I had a specific vision I saw for Kap and I. Korina helped us negotiate with vendors, stay within our budget, and push back on our venue to use the second floor for cocktail hour. It was hard with the timing and rentals but she MADE IT HAPPEN!!!!! Korina is the definition of a sweet and hardworking entrepreneur. The day of our wedding she was calm cool and collected. She directed her team with poise and elegance. It was amazing to see her in her element. She has a tough job but by looking at her — you would never know how much she does behind the scenes.

We would HIGHLY recommend using Serene Events and Design to anyone in the SoCal area. It will easily be the best decision in your wedding planning process!!!!!

Korina went above and beyond for our wedding. I’m very indecisive, and Korina was VERY patient with us during the planning process. She offered helpful suggestions and ideas, but was also open and prioritized the bride and groom’s wants first. Communication was always prompt. Preparing for the wedding felt like brainstorming with a friend as opposed to how intimidating planning a large event can be. During the wedding, Korina was calm and collected, which helped with our own wedding jitters. Even when we thought her duties were over, a decor item was left behind at the venue and Korina made sure it got back to us, even if it meant a drive since we aren’t local to San Diego.
