It was a magical day! Our wedding went smoothly without any hiccups and was a very unique ceremony. The officiant, Kanjin Cedarman Shonin was very welcoming with an engaging sense of humor. He did an excellent job succinctly explaining the meaning behind each part of the ceremony. He was also flexible when necessary; he and his assistant Mina exceeded our expectations!! We highly recommend their services for your wedding!

My wedding would have been disastrous had it not been for Kanjin Cederman Shonin. As a practicing Buddhist hailing from a Christian family, marrying an an agnostic from a Christian family presented a wealth of conflict. However, Cederman Shonin not only counseled us to be prepared for our marriage and the challenges that accompany it but was willing to modify the ceremony to fit our venue's time constraints while respecting our families' faith as well.

Beyond that, he assisted our wedding coordinator and provided leadership apart from the spiritual to ensure our ceremony went smoothly. He gave cues for our processional after consulting with both our photographer and planner when our venue needed to be changed due to weather only two days before our ceremony.

Essentially, once my husband and I walked into our new venue, we had little to do other than affirm our commitment. He even joked during our nuptials when one of our rowdier guests began to whoop & holler mid-ceremony.

I could not recommend a more caring and attentive officiant for a wedding. It was an honor to be married by him and his help will forever remain with me.
