Dennis was recommended to us by a good friend and we'll known DJ who we had reached out to for our wedding. He was unavailable so he told us to call Dennis, and we're so glad he did! Dennis was available, understood our low key, country type of wedding and acclimated his services to our event. He also provided a photobooth set up which was a HUGE hit! The system he uses allows for the couple to have copies of every photo, and each guest can text their photos to themselves instantly! He brought all the cute props and people flipped over it! We could not recommend Dennis and his great photo assistant more! I gave him a list of mysic we wanted to hear and with that list he chose other songs of similar genres..and we listen to everything so he was able to accommodate everything! He even did fantastic mixes of old and new songs. Everyone loved the atmosphere he created! We will be using him again for sure!

From the first conversation, SDR Weddings & Entertainment won my vote of confidence. They treated me with the utmost respect, professionalism and care when it came to planning out my vision for the wedding and the reception.

Although there was a mixup with the timeline between them and our venue's maitre'd (day of coordinator), they were quick on their feet to make everything mixup as smooth, where guests didn't know that there was a problem. Even though it was a small event (there was less than 30 guests), we all had a great time with both Dennis and Rus leading the way!

My only feedback is that their events portal is a bit glitchy - I had made some last minute changes to the timeline, but the changes wouldn't save, which caused an issue with our maitre'd's timeline. I would recommend giving customers an option to upload a Google Sheet or Excel form with the timeline.

SDR events were extremely easy to communicate with throughout the wedding planning process. After our initial meeting, Rus was easy to reach over text and answered all of my questions as we finalized the details for our day. My husband and I loved that they had a website where we could organize all of our music for the day and put song requests in - it was SO easy to keep updating the site as we decided on our music choices. The day of, they brought bubble guns which turned out to look amazing in photos! The party continued all night and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time. Thank you SDR for making our day incredible!

If I could divorce my husband and marry him again so I could hire Rus and Dennis once more, I would! These guys were extremely professional yet so fun to work with. I’m a picky when it comes music, and they made sure to accommodate my requests and my “do not play” list. Dennis killed it, and Rus really knew how to get the crowd going. After the wedding I received so many compliments with how much fun the DJs were, and how they wished we could dance all night. I definitely recommend to hire these guys for your event- you won’t regret it!

Where do I start? My wedding turned out to be a huge success because of making this choice! I researched tons of DJ's and MC's before deciding to go with SDR Weddings and Events. From day one of meeting with Rus, I knew he would be able to keep the crowd going. He was extremely professional and accommodating. He came all the way from Long Island to Harlem for our initial interview. The style of music we wanted was old'skool, r&b, reggae and a little bit of hip hop. Rus even gave some suggestions when asked for his honest opinion about some song choices for the garter removal. I would definitely recommend SDR services. Thanks again!!!!
