We worked with Kelly from Scafuri Bakery for our wedding cake. Everything went great right from the beginning. We had a wonderful tasting where we tried out the different cake flavors and filling options. Kelly listened to our feedback and we developed a cake that had different combinations of flavors in the several layers of the cake. She also came up with a beautiful design for the cake that fit right in with the theme of our wedding. The gum paste flowers on the cake were a great touch! In addition to appearance the cake was delicious as well and we received tons of complements on it. Kelly was also very responsive throughout the process and was open to changes when we wanted to make them. We would definitely recommend working with Scafuri Bakery!

Kelly and staff at Scafuri Bakery really came through in making the wedding cake for our wedding. Not only were the flavors phenomenal - top layer of lemon cake with raspberry filling and bottom layer of lemon ricotta pound cake with cannoli filling - but the design was exactly what we had envisioned. The two squares offset with smooth frosting and a cascade of multi-sized silver, white and navy blue beads looked amazing. We should have ordered another bottom layer because all our guests wanted to take more than one piece home with them. The cake and cookies that we ordered for our wedding from Scafuri Bakery were beautiful and absolutely delicious. We were able to use some very unique flavor pairings in our cake tiers, including balsamic caramel and salted caramel with fresh fruits. We also had bags filled with lemon knot, pignoli, and butter cookies sandwiched with chocolate. Yum, yum, yum. The Italian buttercream frosting is delicious as it is not sickeningly sweet. I usually hate buttercream frostings but was so happy when we fell in love with the work of this bakery. Long live Scafuri, a wonderful part of our neighborhood.

Scafuri bakery made an AMAZING cake for our wedding! It was beautiful as well as delicious. We also had apple cider donuts as we had a fall wedding; The cake and donuts were so good, we barely had any left to try for ourselves....YUM.
As far as the process, Kelly was super easy to work with. She had great suggestions during the tasting and accommodated us in every detail.
We really like the -free personal cake one year after the wedding- offer. Looking forward to our anniversary already!

We were very happy with Kelly's professionalism, and everybody loved the cake. Usually you'll have one or two people say they didn't like a particular flavor, but everybody liked our cake. And it was reasonably priced.

I have a large Italian family, so for my wedding this past weekend, I decided to have assorted Italian cookies from Scafuri as my wedding favors. We worked with Kelly, who was incredibly helpful and responsive at every turn. We scheduled a cake and cookie tasting last year and, though we ultimately decided to go with another bakery for the cake, the cookies were delicious and planning was so easy. We ordered 17 POUNDS of cookies in 6 different flavors for pickup the day before the wedding. We bought little favor bags and Kelly was great at making sure to make the biscotti extra short so that they fit. She was crystal clear on pricing and, though we ended up bagging the cookies ourselves, Scafuri offered everything from bagging to delivery for a very reasonable cost!

The day of pickup, I had my fiance call first thing in the morning to make sure the cookies were ready. The gentleman that he spoke with was very confused but eventually figured out our order and confirmed it was ready. Then, when my fiance arrived, a different(?) gentleman tried to ring him up for the cookies, though they were already paid for. Luckily, someone in the know stepped in and assured my fiance that he was good to go. The cookies were delicious and fresh! Our guests loved the edible favors and the variety offered was great! Working with Scafuri was so easy, and despite the little miscommunication with the staff on pickup, we had a totally smooth experience.
