Services Offered

While this venue allows outside vendors, they staff a floral and design team with more than 20 years of experience who can assist with a multitude of wedding needs. With an extensive list of preferred vendors, they can also provide referrals for live music, caterers, cake designers, and DJs. Outside caterers are welcome to use the facility’s storage space and prep area. Savannah Station’s liquor license allows couples to choose an open bar or limited bar serving specialty wine and beer, as well as premium liquor. The venue can provide licensed bartenders for the event, as well.

History
Originally built in 1902, Savannah Station was first used by The Southern Express Company to stable their freight wagon horses. In 1918 it was bought by The American Railway Express, similar to the United Parcel Service today, and used to house commercial trucks. The Taylor Furniture Company bought it in 1969 as a furniture warehouse, and then as a garage for tour buses. Two Savannah businessmen saw its potential in 1997 and after some renovation, turned Savannah Station into an elegant event facility.

    The perfect venue

Savannah Station was an absolute no-brainer to us! It encompasses everything you could need for a wedding. It is a perfect slate for any design, it has ample room for guests, the bar options are great, and it offers a piece of historic Savannah - all in one spot! The lights in the reception area looked so beautiful, in person and in our pictures! Theresa even made me & my groom a special drink on our wedding day...something with coconut rum. It was amazing! We couldn't speak more highly of the experience here!

First of all, thank you Theresa for making our wedding dreams come true!! Theresa is the point of contact for this venue and I truly love her input on how to plan and make your dreams come true through using her expertise from the several years she has been there helping others clients with events. Savannah Station was the perfect venue for our wedding! It upholds an historic feel that most brides and grooms desire for their own wedding in Savannah. Between the venue itself and our decor, we were able to create our dream boho and industrial style wedding. The bar/lobby in the front was a great place for cocktail hour while we underwent a room change from ceremony to reception. There are several options on how to choose your bar plan and Theresa provides excellent vendor ideas for florists, catering, DJ's and more based on what type of wedding you wanting to have. We are still receiving so many compliments on the venue and its service and they were extremely attentive to all of our guests the entire day. So thank you Theresa and bar staff for making the day just perfect. Definitely go see Savannah Station if you still are looking for a ceremony and/or reception venue! I highly recommend this venue due to its character, staff, and management.
