Located in Savannah, Georgia, the historic venue of Savannah Station is available for elegant wedding events of all sizes. Offering exclusive private use for ceremonies, receptions, and engagement parties, this renovated event space is situated in historic downtown Savannah.

Facilities and Capacity
As a dedicated event facility, Savannah Station has over 12,000 square feet of space allotted for private event use. Their grand ballroom is perfect for a large wedding and reception, with 6,000 square feet that can accommodate up to 400 seated guests. The 2,000-square-foot bar area can be used for a standing cocktail reception for up to 200 people, or 75 people for a seated event. The Parlour Bar is decorated in a vintage Victorian era style with original brick floors, a brilliant crystal chandelier, and antique sideboards.

Services Offered
Couples are welcome to bring their own wedding planner, or the staff at Savannah Station is also capable of assisting with all aspects of a wedding. While this venue allows outside vendors, they staff a team with more than 20 years of experience who can assist with a multitude of wedding needs. With an extensive list of preferred vendors, they can also provide referrals for live music, caterers, cake designers, and DJs. Savannah Station’s liquor license allows couples to choose an open bar or limited bar serving specialty wine and beer, as well as premium liquor. The venue provides licensed bartenders for the event, as well.

History
Originally built in 1902, Savannah Station was first used by The Southern Express Company to stable their freight wagon horses. In 1918 it was bought by The American Railway Express, similar to the United Parcel Service today, and used to house commercial trucks. The Taylor Furniture Company bought it in 1969 as a furniture warehouse, and then as a garage for tour buses. Two Savannah businessmen saw its potential in 1997 and after some renovation, turned Savannah Station into an elegant event facility.
