Sarah photographed our wedding at Hawkesdene Estate in September, and we could not have asked for a better photographer and person to have at our wedding. Her photography speaks for itself, but we have nothing but great things to say about Sarah as a person. From even the early planning stages, we could tell that Sarah cares a lot about her work and is well organized and detail oriented, which we really appreciated.
As a same sex couple, we also felt incredibly supported by Sarah, which was especially important to us. We planned our NC wedding from afar in CA and Sarah was super helpful in answering our questions, helping us come up with the schedule for our wedding day, and accommodating our request to schedule our engagement shoot on the same weekend as our wedding.

When we finally met Sarah and Spencer, we found that they are both incredible people and we loved having the opportunity to work with them! I don't think we really appreciated how much time we'd be spending with our photographers on our wedding day, but we really couldn't have asked for better people to spend time with and help us capture our special day. On the day of the wedding, we had a hectic schedule and a lot of rain, but both Sarah and Spencer were so supportive and on top of everything. When our venue suggested we switch ceremony locations last minute due to the rain, Sarah reassured us that we should get married in the spot we wanted and that she would still be able to capture it. We ended up following her advice and got to have our ceremony where we wanted, and everything worked out perfectly! We truly appreciated having Sarah and Spencer at our wedding and are really happy with the way the photos turned out. One of the big things we learned on our wedding day is how important it is to have the right people around you to help make your day what you want it to be, and we could not recommend Sarah more for that.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Sarah Hinckley and her work. Sarah is the sweetest, most joyful, most patient, most organized, most caring person we had the pleasure of working with over the last year, and we’re so thankful we had Sarah to capture our day.

From the beginning, Sarah was willing to create a photography-friendly timeline for us that served as a guide when organizing our day. Of all our vendors, she was the most organized and on top of everything. As a type A person, I can’t tell you how grateful I was for this. On our wedding day, she was our guiding light and kept us grounded through any stressful moments, making the day even more fun than it already was.

She captured the most beautiful engagement photos for us, and immediately made us feel comfortable and have fun throughout the entire shoot, getting us so excited for our wedding photos. Wedding day with Sarah by our side was amazing, and her sneak peaks of our photos (which we had the following day) were beyond what we could have imagined. Her work is truly stunning and timeless, and my husband and I will treasure her photos forever.

Sarah is our, and should be everyone’s, go-to gal to capture all special moments in life, big or small. We cannot wait to continue working with Sarah through the years as we grow our family.

Sarah Hinckley is the BEST wedding photographer around!!! She made our wedding day run so smoothly and the pictures were absolutely perfect. Engagement shoot: The second we met her at our engagement shoot in person we quickly became close friends. We had never done a photoshoot separately, let alone together as a couple, and were super nervous. But she immediately calmed our nerves and it was a super fun date night…not to mention the photos!!! I LOVED every single one!! It made us embarrassingly giddy and excited about our wedding day photos.

Planning: Sarah not only helped in planning out a very unique timeline since we had a brunch wedding but she never pressured me to do something I didn’t want or to take something away that may not be the “norm” that we got excited about. She completely personalized everything, took away all the stress, and even helped us to find our florist who we LOVED! She goes above and beyond in every step of the process.

Wedding day: Sarah is early to everything! 1000% dependable. Even though our wedding day was early she was bubbly as ever and calmed my nerves the second I saw her! She got every single shot and reorganized the timeline if something came up with ease and grace. She was just incredible. Everyone was raving about how she carried herself (even with llamas 🤣) and once they saw the photos raved even more. She even got the sneak peaks out for us before we left the country for our honeymoon the next day!! Just incredible. I cannot say enough about her.

Easiest and best decision we made for the wedding hands down. Choose Sarah! She will take the greatest care of you.

I've used Sarah's photography services for years & it was a no brainer when I got engaged that I wanted her for our wedding! She is very professional & her work is beautiful! She is great at making people feel comfortable when taking pictures as well! She also helped tremendously with the layout of the day.
