We are so in love with our wedding photos from Sarah! She did an outstanding job. She made us feel comfortable and at ease and we feel she really was able to capture the biggest moments of our day in such a classic yet creative way. If you want perfect photos, go with Sarah Canning. Before our wedding, I heard so many horror stories with photographers, I really really did my research. There are so many wedding photographers out there that are not good (in my opinion) and you can't tell they are bad because they put only their best photos. But with Sarah, literally every single photo is straight out of a wedding catalogue.

When we did our engagement photoshoot, I knew I had nothing to worry about with Sarah for the wedding. She is great at giving directions, and she knows exactly what makes you shine. Our first look was at at the Rodin Museum and it was packed with people but if you look at our photos, it looks like it's just the two of us, in serenity. Our wedding was at The Franklin Institute and obviously she nailed those photos, but even the photos outside in pouring rain (under the canopy), were beautiful, just absolutely beautiful. We cannot say enough about working with Sarah! She photographed our July wedding, and the final pictures were absolutely incredible. They perfectly captured everything about the day that we want to remember forever. On the wedding day, Sarah and the associate photographer wowed us with not only the photos, but by how well they took care of us. In 95-degree weather, they dabbed our sweat, brought us water, and made sure we were comfortable. Sarah also made the whole wedding planning process a breeze. She was responsive to questions, had great advice, gave us plenty of time to complete tasks, and was very accommodating to our plans. We definitely could not have asked for more in a photographer. I was initially drawn to Sarah Canning Photography because of how light, airy, and beautiful her photos were. Once I inquired with her, I was immediately sold. Sarah was so organized, detailed and thorough from the very start. She made the entire planning process so easy and seamless. She gave tips and suggestions for everything from what to wear for engagement photos to what to pack for the wedding day. Sarah also offers the option to have one of her associate photographers photograph your engagement shoot and wedding day for a discounted rate. We decided to go this route and had one of her associates, Ashley, as our photographer. Ashley was so kind, personable, and always made us feel comfortable in front of her camera. She has a ton of experience and is incredibly talented! We were so impressed with how she was able to make the most of our times together and capture as many photos as possible. We received our entire wedding album within a month of our wedding and were blown away by how quick the turnaround time was! All of our photos turned out absolutely stunning--we are SO obsessed with them! We would recommend Sarah Canning Photography to anyone!!

Sarah was fantastic, and we couldn't recommend her more! We love every one of the engagement and wedding photos she took of us. She was the vendor-MVP of the wedding because of how organized she was about everything. Starting ~6 months before our wedding day, she sent periodic emails with helpful information and reminders about photo-related and non-photo-related things that we might to know.

She helped us think through all the aspects of our first-look, family, and wedding party photos and made sure we got photos of every combination of people we could ever want.

She went above-and-beyond with coordinating with our other vendors. As an example, she reached out to our florist to have them bring our bouquets and boutonnieres to the hotel (rather than the venue) so she could photograph them early in the day.

She got us our photos back (800 of them!) within about a week and a half and we love every single one of them.

On top of all of that, she's wonderful to interact with. She's really personable, friendly, and professional. We highly recommend Sarah!

Working with Sarah over the last 1.5 years has been amazing! My fiancé and I fell in love with her natural, light-filled style right away and knew we wanted to work with her. She graciously came to NYC and captured our engagement session by the Brooklyn Bridge. On our wedding day, Sarah got to work right away photographing our wedding details as we finished our hair/makeup. She was efficient and we finished our shots early (which never happens!). Sarah posted a preview of our portraits the next day and sent our full gallery less than two weeks later, which is unbelievable.

Throughout the entire process, Sarah has been an invaluable resource. She provided us with a guide of potential engagement session locations, tips for both the bride and groom so we wouldn't stress out the day of and a list of wedding details for flat lays. Along the way, Sarah also made sure we stayed on track, reminding us to send her a save the date/invite so she could photograph both, requesting our vendor list ahead of time, and working seamlessly with the event coordinator and entertainment on a timeline.

Sarah was an absolute joy to work with and we couldn't recommend her more! She is extremely professional, responsive and easy to work with! Everyone was blown away by how beautiful our photos turned out!!!

There truly aren’t enough positive things to say about our experience with Sarah! From our almost two year process of booking her, taking our engagement pictures, planning together, our wedding day, and everything in between, Sarah was an absolute joy and delight to work with from start to finish. Even from our first conversation with her, Sarah was extremely organized, detail-oriented, and made us immediately feel comfortable and that our investment in her would be worth it. Our first time meeting and directly working with her for our engagement shoot was carefree, lighthearted, and eased any potential hesitations about being in front of the camera or what our pictures would look like in the end. It was so helpful to have some practice with her and a better idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and I loved getting to use the pictures for our save the dates since she prioritized our preferred timeframe even with her packed schedule. Sarah kept great communication with us from the moment we inquired with her up until even after our wedding day. She was so helpful in answering all of my questions and asking the right questions herself, brainstorming ideas, creating our wedding timeline, and even just checking in with us. On our wedding day, Sarah truly felt like a member of my bridal party in the best way! She hyped me and all of my girls and the moms up constantly, kept the environment light and fun, effortlessly maneuvered the whole day capturing everything, and even was the one who hooked my bustle before our reception. Her confidence struck me the most - I loved that I never felt like I had to worry about a single thing and that she had everything under control, which let me just relax and enjoy the day. Plus, her work simply speaks for itself! All of our pictures are so beautiful, we’ve received so many compliments already, and she had sneak peeks to me in 3 days (even on a holiday weekend!) and our whole gallery in just a couple of weeks. I know we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. I’m so excited that I get to continue working with her on our wedding album! Choosing Sarah was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I couldn’t recommend her more!
