Amazing venue! Everyone commented on how incredible the views were. We wanted a beach wedding but all the beach spots are so crowded and very public. The fact that we had the end of the pier to ourselves was a big selling point. It felt very private despite being on a very busy pier. We had about 75 people and it was perfect, people could wander through the sea center and they even had an amazing jellyfish exhibit upstairs. The price was very resonable compared to most spots in california, we looked everywhere and I don't think you'll find a better spot for that price. Rich was great with responding to our e-mails and questions.Sent on 08/22/2012

Aside from a few restrictions on what you can do (because the Sea Center is located ON the ocean), this was a perfect venue for our wedding. We planned to have the ceremony and reception outside, but due to the weather, ended up serving dinner outside, then bringing our guests inside to dance, and it was PERFECT! I wouldn't recommend this venue (even outside) for more than 150 people, but for our group, it was great! It's also very affordable, and the management is friendly and responsive.Sent on 11/22/2011
