Hi! I’m Shayna Zanolini, the Wedding Coordinator at Sand Springs Country Club. I am a 2019 graduate from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. I have worked in different positions throughout the service and hospitality industry since 2016. Before starting at Sand Springs in 2020, I worked as a wedding and event coordinator at another banquet venue.

My parents owned a business while I was growing up and I think my attention to detail and management skills come from watching them successfully build their business for 17 years. In high school, I joined the drama club and immediately fell in love with the stage crew work. Designing sets, finding props, and making sure everything ran smoothly opening night was exactly what I wanted to do. I loved seeing the joy on each guests’ face during the performance. This is where my love for event planning started.

In this position, I get to work with the amazing Sand Springs team to create the dream event or wedding that every client wants. From linens to food and everything in between, I get to help every step of the way which is what I love doing. When it comes to be the day of an event, it is an amazing feeling knowing that I was such a big part of making that perfect occasion happen.

Hi! I'm Samantha, your Event Coordinator at Sand Springs Country Club. I graduated from Marywood University in 2015 with my Bachelors' Degree in Hospitality Management. In 2016, I started at Sand Springs working in both events and weddings initially as a banquet server and was promoted to the assistant event and wedding coordinator in 2017.

I have been working in the hospitality industry since I was 16 years old where I started out as a busser and waitress at local restaurants. Throughout high school I was a culinary arts student, so I was able to gain knowledge in food preparation, design and service. During my time at Marywood University is where I discovered my passion for event planning. My senior year I had the opportunity to intern with an event planning company and after that I was sold! Since working at Sand Springs, I have had the opportunity to plan and coordinate every type of event from intimate rehearsal dinners to large company holiday parties.

I love meeting new people and helping make their vision a reality. From the moment you walk through the dors, to the day of your event, I am here to help guide you every step of the way. Each event receives my utmost attention throughout the planning process and day of execution. My experienced serving staff, professional bartenders and I will make your special day a success!

Hello! I’m Julia Bucholtz, the Assistant Wedding Coordinator at Sand Springs Country Club. I am a 2023 graduate from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies. Before graduation, I worked as an Event Planning Intern in New York City where I assisted with weddings, birthday parties, and more.

During college, I was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity where I assisted in planning a variety of events for the fraternity, from spa nights to planning campus-wide events such as fundraising carnivals. I was also a part of the campus Programming and Entertainment Board where we brought well-known artists to the school to perform. College is where I found my love for event planning, and now I am excited that I get to help coordinate weddings for a living!

Helping people plan their dream event really sparked my interest because it was amazing to know that I assisted in fulfilling their wishes for an event. Working as an Assistant Wedding Coordinator, here at Sand Springs, has brought me so much joy due to the fact that I am helping a couple make a memory that will last a lifetime. I sincerely enjoy the process that goes into coordinating a wedding and helping make the couple’s vision a reality. My goal is to make the planning process as easy and enjoyable as I can for each individual couple and ensure that it’s everything they wanted and more!
