The Golf Club at Johnson Ranch is a distinctive country club venue located in Queen Creek, Arizona, that hosts weddings and other special occasions. Since 1997, the Ranch staff has striven to customize wedding celebrations to meet each client’s needs and style. Facilities and Capacity

You can have an Arizona wedding celebration to remember that begins with get-ready rooms to prepare and relax in. A ceremony atop the San Tan Mountains, viewing the valley below, can leave your guests with clear memories of the moment. Numerous superb sites on local hills and the 18-hole golf course provide unique opportunities to capture your wedding day joy in stunning images. You can enjoy the terrace for your reception, a 1,800-square-foot covered patio space with views of the green and of the mountains. Furthermore, these facilities are wheelchair-accessible and offer parking space on-site.

Wedding events that can be hosted at The Golf Club at Johnson Ranch include engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, elopements, ceremonies, and receptions. All-inclusive packages can cover your venue rental, event planning, rentals, catering, bartending, and cake. The venue staff can coordinate with your vendors, along with covering the setup and cleanup of your celebration. Event rentals available for your special day include tables, chairs, furniture, lighting, centerpieces, an arch, and use of a photo booth. Beautiful venue with LOTS of potential!

I have to be honest, I was skeptical as a bride when I made the choice to host our wedding at this venue. But, after including numerous outside vendors, a fabulous photographer, and assistance from the site coordinator Jami, we held one GORGEOUS event! The ceremony mountain top views were spectacular (especially at sunset). The site crew was also extremely accommodating when it came to moving seating around and making adjustments for us and our guests. Would highly recommend!

Amazing and beautiful

Jami did an amazing job of coordinating our wedding. She did all the set up and clean up and everything was stress free and hassle free. We had the lake ceremony and everything was gorgeous. The reception was also breathtaking and the food was delicious. our guests were full of compliments. Thank you Jami, for helping to make our dream wedding a reality.

I was married in 2007 on the 16th green. It was so beautiful!! Unfortunately my mother became ill and could not make it to my ceremony. The Golf Course was nice enough to let me keep my special date on the 31st but change the day of my reception so my mother could be there. We ended up renewing our vows one month later so my mom could see the ceremony and then followed with the reception all at the golf course! Johnson Ranch was so great to accommodate both dates for us given our circumstances. Food and service was excellent. We couldn't of asked for more. :-)

Jennifer and Gina at JR were awesome in making my wedding day go smoothly. I worked mostly with Jennifer and she was more than accommodating in meeting our needs and wishes. However, Gina was there on the day of, and I couldn't have asked for a better host. The staff was attentive and friendly to work with, and their chef provided an excellent meal that all of our guests raved about. We had a buffet style with sliced sirloin and chicken cordon blue that just melted in your mouth. I was so impressed with all of the staff as they made sure me and my husband were taken care from the moment we stepped on the property for our ceremony and reception from start to end. We did have a hiccup or two from the sprinklers coming on to some real life wedding crashers, but the JR staff were on it and took care of it. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the golf club in general and the staff. Thank you for everything, I was thoroughly impressed with their services.

Jennifer, Kim and the entire staff at Johnson Ranch were amazing. Everything was set up beautifully and worked out just as I imagined it too. Everyone was friendly and helpful!!

This was the most perfect place for a small wedding. The area is beautiful and the staff is phenominal. Everything was set up very elogantly, just the way I had wanted. The staff took care of our every need from set up to serving our guests to taking down and cleaning up and they were so friendly and kind to us and our guests. The food was also excellent. Since my wedding I have received tons of compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and on how smoothly everything went. The staff really outdid themselves. I would recomend the Golf Club at Johnson Ranch to anyone.

We had a Wedding At the Top, on the 13th T-box up in the mountains. It was a beautiful location! The reception patio was great, offering both heaters and a misting system for any type of weather. They were pretty flexible about decorations and allowed us to store our cake and flowers there earlier in the day. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and their volunteers really went the extra mile to assist us on site visits and at the rehearsal. Chef Maria prepared a special dish I requested, and all of the food was fantastic! We got nothing but empty plates and rave reviews from our guests. Gina the restaurant manager was absolutely the best! She helped with everything from patio set-up and diet-specific meals for some guests, to alcohol pricing and even assisting at the rehearsal. Jennifer, the event coordinator was friendly and very good at her job, when I could reach her. She always responded to my inquires, but it would take a while or she would have to check with someone else for the answer to my questions and it would take days. It was frustrating at times (like when the chef was on vacation the week I was supposed to have my food tasting and I had to call 3 times to find that out, and then schedule an appointment for the following week). Perhaps our biggest disappointment of all was the pricing on alcohol. You have to use their vendor (as you do with most places, unless you are renting a hall), and their vendor is a HUGE ripoff. The prices were more than 3 times what you'd pay in the store, and the prices in the store are already inflated. However, you can keep whatever hasn't been opened (you paid for it after all), so just request the bar staff to open one bottle at a time. In the end, our wedding turned out beautifully. The location is really wonderful (desert, mountains, lake, grassy golf course all in one spot!) and the staff was truly fantastic. If you're not obsessive about reaching the event coordinator 24/7, this place is worth looking in to.
