Legacy Golf Club is a beautiful and modern wedding venue in the southern reaches of Phoenix, Arizona. This 75,000-acre setting offers indoor and outdoor locations for a ceremony and reception and is conveniently stationed a short spin from downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor International Airport. Long-distance travelers and out-of-town guests will have no problem finding what was once part of the historic Dwight B Heard estate.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples must make decisions when they choose Legacy Golf Club as their wedding venue. Whether an intimate gathering in the tens or a lavish affair of up to 280, the wedding party can celebrate indoors, outdoors, or both. With the sun shining year-round, an outdoor wedding is favored by many, and the Sierra Vista Lawn is ideal for such an occasion. Nearlyweds can swap their vows surrounded by their nearest and dearest before coming together for a romantic toast during cocktail hour. During this time, the on-site team at Legacy Golf Club will redecorate the venue with tables, chairs, a dance area, and more. Everything will be ready in time for the couple's big entrance before dinner, leading to an unforgettable night of conversing, singing, and dancing with loved ones.

The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. So many of our guests mentioned how the venue staff "were everywhere but no where at the same time", which describes how I felt perfectly. They were getting stuff done but blending in so seamlessly in the background that I don't even remember noticing them! The bartender and servers were so attentive and kind, and the food was amazing. I was nervous about the closest bathrooms being at the clubhouse which is a decent walk away, but there were shuttles running all night to take guests back and fourth and it was a complete non-issue!
I genuinely wish I could relive our entire wedding weekend over and over again and I would not change a single detail. The whole staff at Legacy, championed by Katie and Shatara, really knocked it out of the park :)
The Best Decision We Made
The food was also amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests, and it was clear that just as much care went into the meal as every other detail.
A special thank you to Shatara, who was absolutely incredible to work with. She made the entire planning process feel stress-free and truly cared about making our day special. We are so grateful for everything she did! We highly recommend Legacy Golf Club to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so unforgettable!
An Unforgettable Experience with an Incredible Team
We are from the area, and since my husband is a golfer, I always knew this venue was absolutely gorgeous. We held both our ceremony and reception on the Sierra Vista Lawn, and my entire vision came to life. We received countless compliments from family and friends about how beautiful everything turned out.
The food was also a huge hit—everyone raved about it! I truly want to thank the entire team, and especially Shatara, for being such a supportive and helping hand throughout the entire process.
Perfection in every way
One of the biggest game changers for us was that Legacy handled all of the setup and tear-down of our décor. Not having to worry about those logistics allowed us—and our families—to truly relax and be fully present on our wedding day.
On the day itself, the positive energy and attentiveness Shatara and Katie provided exceeded all expectations. Their kindness, organization, and constant smiles contributed to our perfect day.
From the food, to the bridal suite, to the ceremony and reception spaces, every detail was handled exquisitely. Our day was as incredible as it was because of their hard work and dedication. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will continue to speak highly of Legacy and everyone who made our wedding so special. It’s hard to find a venue in the valley that offers this level of service, value, and overall experience.
