We had our wedding at Legacy on April 14, 2025 and could not have asked for a better experience!! From the moment we booked in late 2023, the entire process was so smooth and easy. We live in Toronto so this was all planned online, but I never felt like I was at a disadvantage. Katie and Shatara were so quick to respond to my *many* questions, and were so happy to accommodate all of our special requests.
The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. So many of our guests mentioned how the venue staff "were everywhere but no where at the same time", which describes how I felt perfectly. They were getting stuff done but blending in so seamlessly in the background that I don't even remember noticing them! The bartender and servers were so attentive and kind, and the food was amazing. I was nervous about the closest bathrooms being at the clubhouse which is a decent walk away, but there were shuttles running all night to take guests back and fourth and it was a complete non-issue!
I genuinely wish I could relive our entire wedding weekend over and over again and I would not change a single detail. The whole staff at Legacy, championed by Katie and Shatara, really knocked it out of the park :)

We truly can't say enough wonderful things about Legacy Golf Club! From the very beginning, the entire team made us feel supported and cared for throughout the planning process. One of our favorite parts was that our package included a two-night stay at the resort, which allowed me to get ready in the on-site suite and made the whole wedding weekend so much more relaxing. On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff kept everything running smoothly, made sure we stayed on schedule, communicated with us throughout the day, and set everything up exactly how we had envisioned it. Being able to simply enjoy the day with our family and friends was such a gift.
The food was also amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests, and it was clear that just as much care went into the meal as every other detail.
A special thank you to Shatara, who was absolutely incredible to work with. She made the entire planning process feel stress-free and truly cared about making our day special. We are so grateful for everything she did! We highly recommend Legacy Golf Club to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so unforgettable! -

An Unforgettable Experience with an Incredible Team
Shatara and the entire Legacy team are truly the best. Their patience and kindness are unmatched. My husband and I unexpectedly became pregnant, and Shatara was still able to arrange a new date for us without any hesitation, which meant the world to us.
We are from the area, and since my husband is a golfer, I always knew this venue was absolutely gorgeous. We held both our ceremony and reception on the Sierra Vista Lawn, and my entire vision came to life. We received countless compliments from family and friends about how beautiful everything turned out.
The food was also a huge hit—everyone raved about it! I truly want to thank the entire team, and especially Shatara, for being such a supportive and helping hand throughout the entire process. -

Our wedding at Legacy Golf Resort was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Shatara and Katie were such a joy to work with and were incredibly professional, communicative, and always one step ahead throughout the planning process. Every question we had leading up to the big day was answered thoroughly and handled with such grace, which gave us complete peace of mind.
One of the biggest game changers for us was that Legacy handled all of the setup and tear-down of our décor. Not having to worry about those logistics allowed us—and our families—to truly relax and be fully present on our wedding day.
On the day itself, the positive energy and attentiveness Shatara and Katie provided exceeded all expectations. Their kindness, organization, and constant smiles contributed to our perfect day.
From the food, to the bridal suite, to the ceremony and reception spaces, every detail was handled exquisitely. Our day was as incredible as it was because of their hard work and dedication. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will continue to speak highly of Legacy and everyone who made our wedding so special. Our wedding party celebration
Our experience at Legacy Golf Resort was exceptional. The venue was stunning and perfectly maintained, providing a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. Shatara, the wedding coordinator, was outstanding. She kept everything on schedule and managed two vendor emergencies with ease. Her calm demeanor allowed us to fully enjoy our day. November wedding
Shatara and Katie were amazing from the start of touring and setting up our event. We got married in Hawaii a month prior and had our reception with family and friends at the Legacy when we returned. We felt involved every step of the way and loved how appointments were spread out starting from day one up to the reception. They were very responsive, easy to work with, and made sure our day was special, fun, and ran smoothly. The food was amazing and the set up of decorations was perfect. We had some last minute changes and missing items like easels, a last minute seating chart, and dietary restrictions which they were super flexible and accommodating with. They also made sure guests were taken care of, not just us! Also very beautiful venue with the golf course and mountains. 10/10 would recommend!! -

An Enchanted Magical Evening!
The setting and venue was the highlight. The open golf course, mountain views and intimate garden setting at historic Sierra Vista site made it magical for our guests. The event planning and staff were very coordinated and helpful. Their communication was timely and consistent. The event was run so well coordinated that we had no worries and able to one hundred percent enjoy the amazing festivities!

My husband and I got married at Legacy Golf Club back on November 17, 2023. Let me tell you that friends and family STILL talk about our wedding to this day about how beautiful, perfect, and unique it was. The venue really made the wedding just perfect from the amazing Special Events Coordinator, Shatara Jones, to the great food, the coordination of all of the vendors and the two venues we selected. We married at the Sierra Vista Lawn and had our reception at the cart pad under the twinkling lights. We had a firework show, a live band, mariachi, photo booth, and DJ. This venue can have it all and still give you an intimate family union feel to it. Shatara was just everything you would need to plan the perfect day. She provided lists of vendors and was very communicative and helpful at all times. I explained my vision and the staff brought it to life. Planning our wedding here was super low stress and turned out memorable and beautiful. I can't wait until a family member marries so we can have another wedding here! Recommend 100%. -

I don't even know what other word to use for our experience other than exceptional! The staff at Legacy were absolutely fantastic throughout our engagement and planning process, I could not have been more thankful! They really took care of all the heavy lifting planning. There was a slight hiccup in communication on our end, but the second we brought it to your attention it was fixed immediately. Carr Wedding
I can't recommend Legacy enough. They were so easy to work with, and were extremely open-minded to all of my ideas, and were able to bring them to life. Amazing venue
Our wedding was more than we could have asked for! We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Legacy Golf Resort. We were looking for desert vibes and the south mountains were a beautiful backdrop. We were able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at 3 different spots on the property. Each location was beautiful. Not to mention the price compared to other venues was very reasonable. The packages they offer are great for every budget. Shatara was AMAZING. She was wonderful at communicating and answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding. Wedding day went so smooth because of her! Wouldn’t change a thing. It truly was the best day ever! I would highly recommend this wedding venue. -

We had such an amazing wedding day at Legacy! Shatara was so great to work with. We live out of state so we were nervous about planning a wedding from far away, but Shatara was super easy to communicate with and was so helpful. About 99% of our guests flew in from other parts of the country and they were all so impressed by the ambiance of the Sierra Vista lawn, especially at night. We highly recommend Legacy! -

The Most Beautiful Venue
My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding at Legacy Golf Club. Truly, was the best day of our lives!!
First, the staff was incredible. Especially, the venue coordinator, Savanna. She really went above and beyond to make sure the event was perfect and looked exactly how I envisioned it. She also provided plenty of vendors for me when I asked for numerous suggestions (ALL of which were absolutely amazing). We were not from Arizona so the extra assistance was amazing. I could seriously not think of one thing that didn’t meet my exact vision which I communicated to Savanna a few times. She really understands the couples vision!! I received numerous compliments from guest regarding how helpful she was to them as well.
Secondly, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. We barley needed to incorporate florals or decor because the venue alone was breathtaking. We had our ceremony at 5:30 at the Sierra Vista Lawn (which blocked the sun and was set up beautifully). Our cocktail hour was at the top of the hill on the golf course during the sunset and we had the most gorgeous pictures from that time. The guest were constantly coming up to us to tell us that at that moment they understood why we chose Arizona and this gorgeous venue. The reception was at the cart pad and was completely picture perfect. There was plenty of space for my guest and I was able to incorporate other activities besides a dance floor for guest to enjoy.
Lastly, we did the full premium package with the venue and that included food and alcohol, as well as many other things (cake, tables, linens, etc.) I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of compliments I got on how the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. My guest were shocked that the food tasted as good as it did considering weddings don’t typically have the best food. I was also provided a plate at my sweetheart table which made it possible for my husband and I to enjoy our meal before we socialized with guest! There was barley ever a line for drinks, they were delicious, and they allowed me to incorporate my signature drinks with no problem.
Not only were my husband and I beyond happy with how the day turned out, we have gotten countless compliments on how perfect the night was and how amazing the venue looked. It was a perfect night for us, but also a perfect night for all of our guest who traveled from Florida to celebrate with us. We wish we could redo the night all over again.
Overall, I would recommend this venue to ANYONE. It really exceeded ALL of our expectations. -

I cannot say enough good things about Savanna and Katelyn, the wedding planners, at Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix, az. My daughter's wedding was there on 4-2-22, and everything was perfect! Wedding was on the driving range, and reception in the Sierra Vista area. Katelyn and Savanna were on top of their game - covered everything and more, and did a phenomenal job! We decided on the Legacy because they had lodging, the wedding, reception and a wonderful 3 days all in one place. The cake was also included with the price as well as 2 night of a one-bedroom suite, lunch for bridal party and groomsmen. The Chef w as very good as well. Food was better than i expected. The ladies who worked the room reservation counter, Kelli and Amanda were also very accommodating. The did an excellent job in keeping our family in the same blg and friends close by! The Legacy is a lovely golf course, pool and great place to stay for a vaca in the Phoenix area. Very close to sky harbor airport. all the rooms are timeshares and have all the amenities. Savanna and the team at The Legacy were AMAZING from day 1. Savanna was so responsive with all my questions and random emails over the course of the last 9 months. I was an out of town bride trying to plan everything from the Midwest, so she did multiple FT tours, and was so helpful in setting up a tasting and planning meeting when my fiancé and I came about 6 weeks before the wedding. There was a hiccup on our end with some miscommunication about the rehearsal dinner that was also at the Legacy, and Savanna helped us out like it was no issue at all. She really made a huge effort to make our day the best it possibly could be, and I couldn’t recommend the Legacy more for your venue! -

The Legacy Golf Club was a DREAM wedding venue! Savanna, the coordinator, was professional, responsive, and fun. She helped answer so many questions along the way and helped with so much day-of. We had thought about doing a complete DIY wedding (since we were looking for a ceremony-only location), but the price for just the ceremony was unbeatable. AND they provided a 2-night hotel stay in two-bedroom suite for us! We honestly can't say enough good things about Legacy; we'd definitely recommend it! -

Hats off to Legacy
From our initial meeting at the open house to the big event, both Kelli and Savanna communicated regularly to ensure the celebration would be perfect. And it was. The venue is beautiful – a perfect space for friends and families to gather. It “wowed” our guests and left a lasting impression on us. The food was excellent – exceeded our expectations, and the cake was amazing (thank you Sugar Lips Cakery). The staff was professional and fun. They know how to throw a party! Having our wedding at Legacy Golf Resort was such a dream! It was breathtaking being surrounded by the mountains and the stunning views. We got married on the driving range and had our reception on the cart pad! The driving range was just what I wanted because we had the stunning views behind us and the cart pad was the right space with my guests! Working with Savanna was amazing and she makes her job look so easy with how well she handles things, her communication skills, organization, and her understanding. Savanna has such a creative eye and just knows what looks good. When I asked for suggestions and recommendations on vendors and place settings, she came through and gave me some of the best people to work with!! It was such a pleasure working with Savanna and being at Legacy!

Wedding Dream Come True
The Legacy Golf Club is an absolute GEM. My husband and I couldn't have dreamt up a better spot to get married! Aesthetically, it's simply beautiful. From the greens, to South Mountain, to the Sierra Vista Lawn, the area just takes your breathe away! If you're looking for the desert/nature vibe like we were, this is the PERFECT venue for you!
Additionally, we found many wedding venues to be over-priced and under-offered. The Legacy offers amazing packages for a fair price-- which means YOU get WAY MORE for your money! We opted for a top-tier package, and ended up with EVERYTHING we needed and more! From several nights on property, to drinks and sandwiches for our bridal party, to a delicious meal and open bar, and even late night snacks!! People were raving about how fun and entertaining our wedding location was-- thanks to the entire package we were offered!
Most importantly, the Legacy offers you a wedding coordinator. Savanna is absolutely incredible! She also had an additional planner, Morgan, on the day of our wedding. Without them, we couldn't have had our dream wedding! From answering 1 million questions month after month, to helping us design our layout, to assisting with vendor recommendations and giving her honest opinion on anything we asked about, Savanna gives her all + 100% more! Not only that, she's an incredible designer! We gave her several tubs of decor and let her work her magic-- and our sweetheart table, cake table, and dining tables couldn't have been more beautiful! She took my "vibe/goals" and ran with them! We were so excited over how beautiful she made everything the day of our wedding! She stays calm under chaos, comes up with solutions to any problem, and guides all your vendors through the process so you don't have to worry about that extra stress! Savanna was kind and friendly and made us feel confident our wedding would be perfect. Our wedding day ended up being on an incredibly windy day in Phoenix, and she still made sure everything ran smoothly and looked incredible.
The Legacy Golf Resort is the PERECT place to make all your outdoors-desert-boho wedding dreams come true. Trust me, you'll forever be grateful you picked this beautiful spot with a planner as supportive as Savanna! -

Gorgeous venue!
To preface this review, my husband and I live in New Jersey, so we had to do a majority of our wedding planning from across the country. However, we could not have asked for a better planning experience over the past year. We chose The Legacy after seeing pictures online and speaking with Savanna McIntosh via email and on the phone. We chose this venue among others because of how impressed we were with Savanna, how gorgeous the venue was, and all that was included. We initially had booked the venue for 11/01/2020 for a normal, full-size wedding, however once Covid happened, we had to make the difficult decision to downsize our ceremony for 2020 and have the big ceremony in 2021. Thankfully, Savanna was extremely flexible and offered for us to use the Sierra Vista lawn for our small ceremony. She helped us make a day that could have been disappointing flawless, smooth, intimate, and better than we could have expected. We are SO excited to have round 2 next year and continue working with Savanna! -

Beautiful Venue with Top Notch Service
About halfway through our planning, we were informed that our coordinator was leaving and that we would start working with Savanna. The original event coordinator was the #1 reason we chose to book with Legacy, but the transition was so easy and overall, Savanna did not disappoint!
Legacy was so flexible with us and went above and beyond to work within our budget while still ensuring our space was beautiful and our experience was nothing but stellar. My ONLY complaint is that I wish the sweetheart table inspiration we provided was taken a little more to heart when setting up. However, my husband and I spent such little time there that this small complaint is just nitpicking at this point.
We did have a few different negative experiences with resort staff, but we will be reporting that to the resort and does not at all reflect on our event and event staff experience. I only provide this here for couples to know that they may need to have conversations with resort staff ahead of time regarding expectations of service for the bridal party and guests staying on site.

When I first started planning our wedding I did not think I wanted a golf course ceremony. But when we found the Legacy and met Savanna we knew it would be a perfect fit. The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many options on where you can have the ceremony specific to your wedding style and size. And when I saw the reception spot, everything I imagined for our wedding came to life! Having Savanna and Lauren as coordinators made the whole experience so easy, I could not have asked for better people to work with. They were very communicative and flexible with how we wanted our day to go. I never worried about my big day because I knew everything was in the best of hands. We had the best day ever and I am so thankful we found the Legacy. I would highly recommend this venue!!! -

There are not enough words to express how great of a venue this is. They have select packages you can choose from, or you can create your own. They provided us the alcohol, bartender, food(which was SO yummy), appetizers, cake, venue, gave us a free two night stay at the resort there, it really made wedding planning so simple and easy. However the fact that they provide all that is not all though. The best part of the Legacy is Savanna and her team. She really was the best to help with our wedding. I honestly did not have one worry knowing she was taking care of it all. Booking the Legacy you will be in the absolute best hands. She is the sweetest person I've met. And now that my wedding is over, I'm kinda sad I don't get to talk to her anymore! You will not regret booking the Legacy one bit! -

Stress Free Experience in a Beautiful Venue
Kelli and Savanna did a great job walking us through the options to develop what our needs were, along with inclement weather contingencies. Their list of vendors covers almost everything you need, start here and then work out. The venue offers many options depending on size and scope. Ours was a small, intimate wedding that they made feel like a no drama night which exceeded all our expectations. The food and drinks were exactly what we wanted. The waiters were very polite and made us feel welcomed and not rushed. -

The most perfect wedding day
My fiancé and I had visited two venues before visiting the Legacy Golf Resort. Once we met Kelli Walsh and toured the venue, we knew it was the place we were going to get married. The venue alone is incredible. It has South mountain views, cacti, palm trees, green grass, rolling hills, so many places to pick for a ceremony and they are so flexible. The day of the ceremony, we asked if we could have the cocktail hour indoors since it was warm outside and they did this with no problem! Our reception was at the Sierra Vista and it was like I walked into a dream. Kelli and Savanna put together EXACTLY what I had asked of them down to the placement of eucalyptus leaves and votive candles. Before our wedding, Kelli always responded to my text or email the same day with an answer or explanation making the entire wedding planning process so simple. My fiancé and I were not stressed at all the day of our wedding and we owe it entirely to Kelli, Savanna and their incredible team at Legacy. We also had Legacy cater our dinner and they had servers at the buffet, which was a nice touch for a buffet, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Everything was timed out perfectly and Kelli and her team kept the flow going. Having our wedding at the Legacy Golf Resort was dream come true for the most perfect day of our lives. -

The Best, Most Love Filled Weekend We Could Have Asked For

We didn't tour any other venues after we toured with Kelli because we knew that we weren't going to experience the same care and consideration anywhere else. Kelli was so easy to work with, answered any and all of our questions, and really took the stress out of our entire day. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The entire team is kind, professional, efficient and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourselves! I really can't sing their praises enough. You can really tell Kelli and Savannah care about each couple - they remembered everything we mentioned, asked about, talked about, all of it. Kelli is wonderful at managing all of the different teams and vendors that are working on your wedding and I'm not sure we would have made it through this entire process without her. We opted to have their team cater dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. All of our guests complimented chef and the great BBQ dinner he made for us! The whole team will hold a very special place in our hearts and we would recommend them 10 times over! -

There aren’t words to describe how much I LOVE this venue, but I will give it a shot!
The Staff- Kelli is a true professional, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was so incredibly helpful from start to finish. She helped us make customizations to our menu, bar menu, venue set-up – EVERYTHING. She was always “all hands on deck” to make sure every last detail of our big day was exactly what we wanted. She was always in constant contact, and is overall just an awesome human being. Kelli and her team put together the PERFECT day, and I could not be more grateful!
The Venue- Legacy Golf Resort is AMAZING! The location is perfect, the venue is so versatile, and the views of the mountains are unparalleled. All of our family came from the East Coast, and they were absolutely DAZZLED by the mountain views and Arizona sunset. We had our ceremony on the greens, our cocktail hour at Sierra Vista, and our reception on the cart pad. I loved the versatility of having different locations to chose from, and it was so nice to have the tent as a back up in case it rained! The venue also had some killer choices for the food and drink menus, and was SO reasonably priced!
The Experience- Honestly, I toured 17 venues. Legacy is the best. Their property is amazing, the service is spectacular, and there isn’t anything else I could’ve asked for. We were allowed to bring in our own vendors, had the best time with Dueling Pianos and fireworks (both recommendations from Kelli), and polished off the night with a late night snack in the clubhouse. It was a true experience, rather than just your standard wedding.
From start to finish, planning our wedding at Legacy was an absolute breeze, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. THANK YOU SO MUCH LEGACY!

I can't even begin to explain how amazing Legacy Golf Resort is. From the minute I met with Kelli I was blown away by how knowledgeable, helpful and kind she was. Legacy Golf Resort offers such an array of options from outside to inside to a BEAUTIFUL lawn for receptions. They will help you with absolutely anything you need including thing you definitely forgot about. I'm getting so much more than I had bargained for and it's amazing. -

Absolutely Amazing!
We considered the Legacy Golf Resort as one of our venue options because it had such great reviews. All of the reviews had one thing in common this, "amazing woman", named Kelli.
The venue is beautiful; mountains, lush green grass, palm trees and canopies of Chinese elms. When my daughter and her fiancé saw the Sierra Vista area, we knew that this was the place. At that point, all other venue appointments were canceled. All this plus beautiful accommodations, very Reasonable pricing and a friendly staff make the Legacy a Great venue.
Kelli Walsh the venue coordinator, makes it an EXCEPTIONAL venue! Now I understand all the raving reviews. She is amazing. She loves her job and it shows. She's easy going, flexible, quick to get bad to you - everything a mother of the bride and bride need when planning a wedding. She made us feel like our wedding was the only one she was coordinating. The day of the wedding ran like clockwork. It was absolutely perfect. She made our daughter's dream come true!!! Arizona has many beautiful venues to choose from, but only one venue, The Legacy, has Kelli!! -

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Legacy Golf Club, and I can honestly say it was the BEST decision we made. The location is stunning, the staff is so kind and the food is delicious. However, what really makes The Legacy stand out is the wedding coordinator, Kelli Walsh, and her team. We must've visited more than 20 venues in the Phoenix area but when we met with Kelli we knew The Legacy was the one. She really is as great as all the reviews say, and it's impossible to put into words just how much we appreciated everything she did for us. It really only takes a few minutes of meeting with Kelli to realize how talented she is. She is one of the most responsive, intelligent, reliable and supportive people I've ever met. We had a long engagement which we planned out-of-state and she answered every question (and there were many) clearly and immediately. It blows my mind how she makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she's working on when you clearly know she has a ton she's organizing! I knew I could count on her to ensure everything went flawlessly. Then on the day of our wedding, Savanna on her team was so sweet and on top of everything as well. Our wedding day was perfect and that was in large part because of Kelli and her team.

Kelli and her crew are really as amazing as the other reviews say! Kelli is amazing at what she does and what she did for my husband and I! She’s really understanding and flexible on how to make your wedding how you want. My words can not even express what my heart feels about the perfection of our wedding, it was all because of Kelli! The Legacy is absolutely a beautiful place to get married, but the perfection of our choice came into play with our planner Kelli. From the moment I first met her I chose our location because she sealed the deal, I connected with her the first time I met her, she made me feel like a friend from the beginning. She truly made my dreams come true. Every single detail (and I am OCD with detail) was exactly as I imagined and from the planning to the morning of to the end of the evening it was perfect. Not one problem that I can remember, not one thing I had to worry about. Kelli and her team will forever be a part of my heart because she truly made our dreams come true! Outstanding, Fabulous, Gorgeous!!!!
I have never written an online review before. But when we had such an amazing experience from beginning to end I had to write this so that other brides and grooms with their families would know what they will experience if they chose The Legacy and work with the best woman ever, Kelli Walsh!
I am the groom's mom and had the unexpected blessing of planning every detail of the wedding with my son and his beautiful bride. If you live in Scottsdale/ Phoenix then you know we have an abundance of beautiful venues to pick from. However, you can not overlook what the wedding coordinator and the staff will provide in order for your wedding to be executed perfectly. And that is where Kelli and her staff are head and shoulders above the other 5 venues we toured.
Kelli is on it. She immediately gave me the reassurance that everything will be taken care of no matter what. She will make it happen! My son's wedding was Sunday, October 14, 2018 one day after one of the biggest and wettest storms in Arizona history. And she was in contact with me constantly letting me know that we had options. She had a plan. Kelli was reassuring me at the same time she was executing the brides wedding that was taking place during this rain storm. She was at that wedding until midnight and texted me the next morning, the day of our wedding by 8:30am to let me know she was back at work and going to check out the grass and see how wet things were. Just AMAZING!!!
Kelli's experience, her communication, and her personality were invaluable during our 7 months with her. Everything we planned on paper literally came to life the day of the wedding.
We had the ceremony facing South Mountain with green grass, and a blue sky. Then moved to Sierra Vista which is covered in lights and such a private lovely area. Kelli worked and executed everything throughout the reception and was the last one there to say goodbye to us.
If you have looked at this venue and are on the fence, don't be. If you want a private, outdoor, warm, lovely, and natural venue this is it. And if you are a detailed planner that likes answers, great communication, and someone that you feel confident in executing your dream wedding then you must work with Kelli.
We are all still gushing about the wedding and so are our guests. Thank you Kelli and staff, great job!!! -

Amazing experience!
Thank goodness we picked the Legacy and even more so Kelli to work with. The site is beautiful, clean and unique. It doesn’t take a lot of decoration to make the Sierra Vista beautiful, all you need to do is play up on the outside site with flowers and a few accents which was great for me. What really was amazing was Kelli. Our family was going through a stressful time while planning the wedding and plans got changed a million times. Not only did Kelli understand, but she came alongside us to come up with a personal plan with our best interest at our heart. She took all of the stress out of the planning which was such a blessing. Not having to worry about vendors on the day of (Kelli coordinates them) is the key to a great day and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else or anyone else to help you plan your wedding! -

Mary Sent on 09/09/2018Our daughter Jaclyn and fiancé Kirby had their wedding at The Legacy. Right from the beginning, we knew The Legacy was “The Place” to have this cherished event. We had looked at other places but after meeting with Kelli we were sure The Legacy would be perfect. Kelli made the entire process easy and fun with no stress and was flexible with us as our numbers kept growing. She had great ideas of how to make the venue more personable and unique for both our families.
Kelli was very responsive to us during the process which helped ease a lot of stress. The day and night of the wedding went off without a hitch. Everything went according to plan and our guests are still raving about what a terrific time they had at The Legacy. The staff that worked the event was so impressive. They really cared about the guest’s comfort and worked tirelessly the Entire Time!! Kelli and her team did a fabulous job of making sure our daughter and son in law had the wedding of their dreams. We can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work. If you are considering a venue for an event don’t hesitate choose The Legacy. You will not be disappointed. We absolutely loved every part of the process with Kelli especially the day of the wedding. Thank you so much for all your hard work and attention to detail to make this a truly memorable night we will never forget !!!

Rachel Sent on 07/05/2018Like others have said, Kelli Walsh is amazing at what she does and is a large part of what makes this venue amazing! We had a situation where we had to change our venue about halfway through our planning and the Legacy went above and beyond to make sure we were given the wedding we dreamed of. We had our ceremony at the sierra vista house and our reception in the tent. It was almost 110 degrees on our wedding day, but the staff was still so amazing and accommodating despite being out in the heat all day. More than half of our guests traveled from out of town and stayed at the resort. Everyone appreciated being close to the venue and the golf cart shuttles. I've had multiple people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they have every been to. I would not hesitate to recommend the Legacy to anyone couple looking to get married.

Wedding planning is stressful enough, but having a person like Kelli by your side gave me a whole new level of comfort with the entire process. I can't even put into words how amazing it was to work with this venue and team.
If you are considering this venue, I encourage you to meet with Kelli, be honest about what you are looking for and let her share with you. She'll ask you the right questions and make you feel comfortable and overall give you a tour of the property will ALL of its beautiful spaces.
This venue and team made our wedding a dream wedding that every couple and family wants.

Ally Sent on 06/23/2018If you are thinking of having your wedding at The Legacy, just pull the trigger and DO IT! You will not be disappointed. Kelli was such an amazing coordinator and new friend. She took care of every single detail and made everything go even smoother than I could have hoped for. My day was absolutely perfect. She is so friendly and easy to talk to, and is an EXPERT at what she does. We chose The Vista for our reception and our ceremony was in front of one of their amazing/huge trees. I still can’t believe how beautiful our wedding was- not to mention, I haven’t stopped hearing about it from our guests! They have a nice glass tent that we held our cocktail hour in which was perfect to give our guests a break from the Arizona heat. It is great because it still feels like you are outdoors but has regulated temperature. We were also given a suite at the resort for the night before (with bridesmaids) and the night of that we were able to stay in together. Kelli organized lunch and mimosas for he ladies as we got ready, and kept my groom/groomsmen busy with the golf simulator, games, and lunch. I have NO complaints whatsoever and still could cry over how perfect our day went. Thank you Kelli!!!!!

Marguerite Sent on 05/23/2018My fiance and I didn't actually end up having our wedding here because a family friend offered to let us use their backyard/orchard, but we were unbelievably impressed by the tour and the packagedoffered to us by Legacy, so much so that we decided to still book the Golf Club's resort as our hotel room for the night of our wedding.
What I liked best about Legacy was the flexibility, value, and personalization that it offered while still being a professional wedding venue. Legacy's event coordinator, Kelli, did a fantastic job answering questions and offering possible solutions. Whereas other venues gave overwhelming lists of all the 120 million different packages and prices they offer and then asked me to sift through that information (which I could just as easily have done from home in an e-mail), Kelli asked us what we wanted, built a package around that, and showed me a number. It was clear and to the point, and beyond reasonably priced.
Additionally, Kelli never made me feel like I was expected to fit into their cookie cutter wedding formula in order to have my wedding there. There was flexibility to be creative and still be us while utilizing their facilities and resources. One of the most frustrating parts of venue shopping for me was the feeling that I had dreamt about my wedding for so long and built all these great pinterest boards, and then most venues only offerred a couple of decor options unless you wanted to pay out the wahzoo for upgrades. Legacy did not pull that nonsense. It was the best of both the DIY and professional venue world. I would highly recommend working with them. -

From start to finish Kelli made the whole process smooth and easy. She went above and beyond to make our day special and to keep me calm! She is very responsive and answered all my emails in a timely manner!
On top of the great service, the venue was gorgeous and the food was delicious! Throughout the night and after the wedding we have heard nothing but great reviews about both from our guests! -

From the moment I met Kelli Walsh, I knew The Legacy was the best choice. I had been to other venues before The Legacy, and did not receive the warmth, compassion, and intuitive understanding of my vision as I did at The Legacy and with Kelli. Kelli was absolutely incredible the entire planning process. She communicated with me and my family (in the most timely fashion I have ever experienced) through phone, text, emailing, and above all, continued to reassure me to take care of myself and leave the rest to her and her team. Kelli wasn't only there to make my wedding the boho-rustic-gardeny dream I had envisioned, but she provided comfort and empathy when the crazy bride in me needed it most! My wedding day was MORE than I thought I wanted; it was absolutely gorgeous and I cannot think of one thing I would've changed. My family and friends did not want to leave at the end of the night and have ranted and raved about how much fun and how beautiful our wedding was. I have received countless comments from my husband, family, and friends about how stinkin' fabulous/wonderful/helpful/amazing Kelli was throughout the whole process, and how PERFECT The Legacy was for a wedding. When I came back to work following the wedding, I had multiple MALE co-workers asking me about the venue in regard to possible future weddings for them! You know the wedding was a success when it motivates men to propose to their girlfriends. :-) The Legacy Golf Resort is absolutely stunning; and Kelli Walsh's passion for what she does makes the entire process easy, fun, happy, and stress-free. My husband and I choose the venue mostly to snag Kelli! The quality of service is second to none. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say. The food, service, and atmosphere were just wonderful. The package we chose included everything.
