Amazing setting and stunning wedding provided at the beautiful SLOCC. The Bride and Groom wanted the blue sky and green hills to be their cathedral - and all was delivered on a 70 degree slight breeze summer evening in late June. Spectacular! Guests raved about the beauty, festive celebration, sunset pictures, and over-the-top table service. New Events Coordinator, Brooke, was flexible in working with us to provide for our specific desires, so the day flowed with maximum contact of the 175 guests - which included a Receiving Line for the Bride and Groom right after the ceremony so they could efficiently greet and celebrate with their guests right away. Appetizers and drinks were served immediately after the ceremony on the patio and lawn so all guests were in the flow of the cocktail social hour and festive atmosphere within minutes. Events Coordinator added a second bar with extra servers on the patio to keep the guests well accommodated with served appetizers and drinks. She had a specific timeline that was thoughtfully set - yet flexible when the main meal was delayed by approximately 20 minutes. No problem, as the guest could easily access the bars and enjoyed conversations with each other. So glad we could utilize the spectacular accommodating venue for the wedding and reception without being a club member. We looked closely at seven venues in the area before choosing SLOCC. So glad they have opened their amazing facility up to the general public. For this venue we budgeted in the Club House rental fee, minimum food and beverages, and the rental of outdoor ceremony space including the chairs located on the golf course tee-box overlooking the beautiful Edna Valley Vineyards. We upgraded by renting outside table linens and chargers, an altar, a sweetheart table love seat and decor accessories, and uplighting and pin lighting to set the mood for the dancing. Still enjoying the memories created in the majestic setting! We would definitely choose the same venue

My daughter's reception was at the country club Saturday. It was amazing!! Beautiful venue & delicious food! Sure a great place! I can't say enough about Bill Mortimer the coordinator....he is AMAZING!!! He is detail oriented and made everything run so smoothly! Such a great time!!!

I cannot give one negative feedback about our wedding reception at the San Luis Obispo Country Club. I looked around at many venues and the value of the country club was very economical plus their services were fantastic. The event planner was very warm, friendly and helpful. He tried to accommodate our every wish. Being an out of town couple, our planner made suggestions of other vendors (photo, flowers, DJ etc.) and they too were professional and outstanding. We received many compliments from our guests on how delicious and plentiful the food was. It was NOT ordinary wedding food! It was scrumptious with excellent service.

I had a wonderful time at my reception which was surrounded with a beautiful view of the golf course, vineyards, and lovely decor. I had zero anxiety and I plan to return for our next big event.
