Sammy and her team were amazing! She had me and all my bridesmaids ready with time to spare and looking beautiful. Sammy was flexible with both my trial and coming to our home the day of the wedding so it was super easy for us to get ready. She is a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for awesome bridal beauty experience!

Sammy is AMAZING. she was so flexible and kind and listened to even the tiniest tweak or request i made both at my trial and my wedding day! she made me and my bridesmaids all look exactly how we wanted :) my hair and makeup didn’t budge all day even with all the dancing, happy tears, and being outdoors! great service, great products, great talent!

Sammy Williams was a dream to work with! Talk about the whole package! Sammy might be one of the most genuinely kind people I have met and does a stellar job with bridal hair and makeup! While planning my July 2016 wedding, Sammy was incredibly responsive to my emails and phone calls regarding her services. She was so open to what I wanted and the vision I had for my bridal hair and makeup. We met about a month out to do a hair and makeup trial at the salon she works at in San Luis Obispo. She was bright and energetic as we set up the perfect hair and makeup styles for my big day. She was open to change and working together to make my vision a reality. On my wedding day, Sammy was prompt and professional. She styled myself, my mom, and my sister and worked with all of our different desires and looks for the special day. If you want amazing bridal hair and makeup done by someone you would love to have get lunch and cocktails with afterwards, Sammy Williams is for you! She made me feel like a princess on my special day and kept my look soft, romantic and natural. She is a dream to work with and I would highly recommend her to any bride or bridal party!

I can’t recommend Sammy and her services highly enough. I feel like anyone that doesn’t use her for their wedding is truly missing out! She went out of her way and put in extra time and energy into making sure my hair and make up was PERFECT and EXACTLY how I wanted it for my wedding. She truly cared that everything was as perfect in real life as it was in my dreams…which is a tall order!!! Every other time I have had my hair or make up done, I have taken in beautiful pictures and imagined how it would turn out only to be disappointed that the results were not like the pictures or just didn’t look the way I imagined. My experience with Sammy was the complete opposite. I have long but very thin hair and I wanted an up-do that required some volume, I wasn’t sure this was possible but I met with Sammy and she was confident that we could make it work. Honestly, my hair turned out BETTER than in my dreams and it was PERFECT!!! I am usually a picky person so that is saying a lot. My make up was great too, she had a perfect balance of making me look good and polished in pictures but I still looked like me and it wasn’t too much. Similar to my hair, she was responsive and attune to what I wanted and did an amazing job reflecting the image I had in mind into reality. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with my hair and make up and I couldn’t ask for more from a stylist!

Outside her incredible talent, she is the SWEETEST!! She is calm and friendly and bubbly but also knowledgeable and professional. She did a great job helping me find spray tan and nail resources and she was incredibly helpful. Sammy is the BEST, if you want to be looking your best for your wedding, give her a call

Sammy and her assistant Andie were fantastic. Sammy responded instantly to all of my emails (there were so many, she has become my friend now. :)) She also worked with me on hair and makeup ideas. After my bridal portraits (it was hot and windy) I was in dire need of a touch-up and Sammy was almost to the highway and she turned around to come and fix me up before I walked down the aisle! Now that's service.

Sammy and her professionalism are highly desirable for clients in and out of the area, and BOTH live up to the expectation.

I was a bride in Los Angeles trying to plan a wedding for the San Luis Obispo area, but Sammy made everything less complicated. She always answered my many questions in a timely manner - from pricing, to hair ideas, last minute adds, and what clip to buy for attaching my veil.

She worked with my schedule to make sure I still had time for a hair and make-up trial (even though it was difficult for me to get up to SLO often). During the trial she talked me through all her ideas for my hair and make-up and was completely relaxed about providing anything the bridesmaids could be wanting for their hair and make-up as well. She gave me plenty of time to discuss changes, but I needed none. Everything was perfect on her first attempt.

Sammy really takes the time to get to know her clients. She is really interested in your day, it's design, and look/feel. She sees all weddings uniquely and will go out of her way to make sure everything works for you for your BIG DAY.

The day of our wedding was the most fun! Having a call time at 7:00am to start hair and make-up can be rough, but Sammy (fully dressed in a cute sundress, with her own hair and make-up completely done, and looking like she should be in your wedding herself) brings energy and excitement for everyone there (friends, family, grandmas, etc) - which really calms the nerves. :)

She is so professional. I can't say enough good things about her and her work. All my bridesmaids hair was styled differently but each one was perfect. Their make-up was flawless. Everyone loved her and everything ran on time!

Sammy was so great to work with for my wedding! I don't normally do much to my hair and make up on a normal, daily basis, so I was a little nervous when going to my trial but Sammy did such a great job at putting me at ease! She was so responsive about what I wanted and made it really easy to tell her what I liked and didn't like, which is so important for hair and make up! I've heard many horror stories of brides crying on their wedding day because they didn't like their hair or make up, but I never felt that way at all! Even when I wasn't sure that I like my make up, Sammy worked with me to get it to where I felt comfortable and beautiful. I also really appreciated that she was able to do both hair and make up, which made the day of logistics and coordination that much easier. And she worked wonders getting everyone done and doing it all on time! She did the hair and make up for me and 8 other women in just about 5 hours -- which is impressive! I loved that she came to our house to do everything because it make the getting ready process so relaxed and comfortable! She was so kind and did an amazing job to make everyone feel beautiful! I felt so beautiful and even at the end of the night everything looked great! I even wore my hair to my morning-after brunch the next day! I would definitely recommend Sammy for hair and make up needs!

I am so glad I booked Sammy to do my wedding hair and make-up. Sammy did my hair and make-up perfectly and exceeded my expectations! She was prompt (arrived early), pleasant and corresponded to my inquires quickly. She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to do my make-up and hair how I described. I had given her a picture of what I wanted, with braids and curls, thinking my hair would not cooperate to look that same as the picture, but Sammy pulled it off and my hair looked fantastic, I couldn't be happier. Was also very tired from not sleeping the night before, so right before I walked out the door Sammy made sure to brighten my eyes. I was picture ready the whole night. My hair and make-up looked excellent throughout the night and in all my photos! I highly recommend Sammy and would have her do my wedding hair and make-up all over again. Thank you, Sammy!

Sammy has the sweetest personality and will make your getting ready day a breeze! She's very professional and talented with hair and makeup. You will be so happy to have her as your stylist!

I worked with Sammy for an editorial shoot I photographed. She was nothing but a pro at every stage of the process. She was really easy to work with, super sweet, and the model's hair and make-up was beyond amazing. During the planning stages I made a pinterest board that gave her a general idea of what I was thinking of and I liked how it came out better than any of the photos I had pinned. Honestly, I don't even think she would have needed the pin board. The make up was natural and beautiful.

I know many other wedding photographers in the area recommend Sammy as well because they trust that she'll do a great job and be a great person to share a wedding day with.
