Sammy and her team did the hair and makeup for our wedding recently, and it was a great experience! Before the wedding, Sammy and I did a hair and makeup trial, and she was really open to feedback and willing to make changes to make sure I looked exactly like I wanted on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, I had a large bridal party and her and her team got through the hair and makeup very efficiently. I was very happy with how my hair and makeup turned out the day of my wedding and my bridesmaids were, as well!

She is of course a sweet, calming, friendly, professional, and organized person as it is, but also fantastic at what she does!
I had my trial run about a month before, and she even included my hairdresser on the appointment to assure my hair would be set-up perfectly for the wedding day.
I ended up leaving my trial run feeling so dang pretty and confident that I literally took the rest of the day to go out with friends to show off her work and just enjoy that feeling she created.
On my wedding day, Sammy and her team showed up early, got set up and straight to work as there were 19 people on her list to get done in time. She even adapted on the fly to any adjustments not discussed ahead of time.
Sammy and her girls were all so happy and friendly, but still very professional and organized, allowing for ALL 19 of us to be done and ready Ahead of Schedule!
Not only did everyone feel special and beautiful, the Hair and Make-up for everyone lasted through the after-party!
Saying I Highly recommend Sammy doesn't feel like enough, but just know that my wedding photos wouldn't be as pretty as they are without her because she made me and my wedding party not only look but also feel so wonderful that it radiated out of us. Thank You Sammy!!

I was engaged at the time Sammy did hair and makeup for a friend’s wedding that I was in in Fall 2018. After this experience with Sammy, I just knew I had to book her for my wedding! Sammy did hair and makeup for myself, bridesmaids, and immediate family members.

Sammy was so communicative throughout the entire process, answering all questions I had. From asking how far in advance to get my hair highlighted before the wedding, to changing initial ideas for my look, to creating specific timeline requests that I had, Sammy was so flexible and worked with anything that came her way! My hair is long and thick and I wanted to have an updo for my wedding – she styled is so perfectly and beautifully that I couldn’t believe she fit all of my hair in the updo! She also does makeup that photographs so beautifully, and also looks natural in person.

Overall, Sammy is the sweetest person and working with her was effortless! For what can be a bit of a chaotic time (getting ready morning of), Sammy’s easy-going personality and sense of calmness made the morning go seamlessly. Choosing a hair and makeup stylist is a big decision for a bride, but look no further, Sammy is your gal!

Sammy is AMAZING. she was so flexible and kind and listened to even the tiniest tweak or request i made both at my trial and my wedding day! she made me and my bridesmaids all look exactly how we wanted :) my hair and makeup didn’t budge all day even with all the dancing, happy tears, and being outdoors! great service, great products, great talent!

Sammy is THE BEST to work with and did an amazing job as my hair and makeup stylist for my wedding day. She is quick to respond with questions and provides extremely helpful tips and advice. She is seriously a pro and knows it all when it comes to hair and makeup, plus she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. It was stressful hiring someone to create the look for my big day since I was getting married out of town, and I knew the photos and video will last forever so I wanted to be sure I trusted my stylist. But Sammy could not have done a more beautiful job on me, my bridesmaids, and my Mom and she truly helped make the morning getting ready so much fun!

I came with initial hair and makeup ideas for our trial, and she did EXACTLY what I asked for, but after seeing it on myself I changed my mind wanted a bit of a different look. Sammy was completely open to my thoughts, listened, and helped create my new wedding day hair and makeup look that I am still so in love with. I have very thin hair that struggles to hold a curl, but Sammy listened to what I do to help my hair hold, and my hair and makeup lasted flawlessly the entire night.

I wish I had more excuses to go down to SLO and have my hair and makeup done by Sammy, but hands down I would recommend her to any bride. I cannot thank her enough for helping me look beautiful and confident on the best day of my life!!

Sammy is super talented! My bridesmaids and I all loved the work she did. She ensures you are happy with your look and is super flexible if you want to try something different. She is also very kind, professional, and responsive. It is also very clear that she knows how to do makeup that photographs beautifully, but still looks natural in daylight! I knew I was in good hands from the start of us working together.

I am so glad I booked Sammy to do my wedding hair and make-up. Sammy did my hair and make-up perfectly and exceeded my expectations! She was prompt (arrived early), pleasant and corresponded to my inquires quickly. She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to do my make-up and hair how I described. I had given her a picture of what I wanted, with braids and curls, thinking my hair would not cooperate to look that same as the picture, but Sammy pulled it off and my hair looked fantastic, I couldn't be happier. Was also very tired from not sleeping the night before, so right before I walked out the door Sammy made sure to brighten my eyes. I was picture ready the whole night. My hair and make-up looked excellent throughout the night and in all my photos! I highly recommend Sammy and would have her do my wedding hair and make-up all over again. Thank you, Sammy!

I love Sammi! She and her team did a wonderful job getting all of us ready for my wedding! We did a trial run a month or so prior to the wedding. Sammy was so great to work with for my wedding! I don't normally do much to my hair and make up on a normal, daily basis, so I was a little nervous when going to my trial but Sammy did such a great job at putting me at ease! She was so responsive about what I wanted and made it really easy to tell her what I liked and didn't like, which is so important for hair and make up! I've heard many horror stories of brides crying on their wedding day because they didn't like their hair or make up, but I never felt that way at all! Even when I wasn't sure that I like my make up, Sammy worked with me to get it to where I felt comfortable and beautiful. I also really appreciated that she was able to do both hair and make up, which made the day of logistics and coordination that much easier. And she worked wonders getting everyone done and doing it all on time! She did the hair and make up for me and 8 other women in just about 5 hours -- which is impressive! I loved that she came to our house to do everything because it make the getting ready process so relaxed and comfortable! She was so kind and did an amazing job to make everyone feel beautiful! I felt so beautiful and even at the end of the night everything looked great! I even wore my hair to my morning-after brunch the next day! I would definitely recommend Sammy for hair and make up needs!
