I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am that we were able to use Samantha as our wedding photographer! We have only seen our sneak peek so far as our wedding was only a few weeks ago, but the photos I have seen have truly been even more beautiful than i could have ever imagined! Samantha was extremely easy to work with, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process! My husband is not a huge photo guy but Samantha and her team made the photo process so smooth and easy the day of! We didn't want our photos to feel too "posed" and Samantha really delivered, capturing authentic moments throughout our day and making out posed pictures look as natural as possible! We are so happy we went with Samantha and cannot wait to see the rest of the photographs from our wedding day!

Samantha came recommended by a college friend who photographed her wedding. SHE IS A GEM!! Very responsive to email and so friendly and genuine. We loved how she captures pictures like you are watching the moment unfold right in front of you. She made the day so special for my husband and I. She even sent a preview album quickly after our wedding. It is so hard to chose which pictures are our favorites since they are all so beautiful. We are excited to look through the wedding pictures she took for days to come!!

My husband and I had the best experience with Samantha for our June 2024 wedding and April 2023 engagement session! Samantha is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but also so kind, patient, and fun to work with! It was a joy working with Samantha Jay. Samantha was helpful in planning the day beyond what I’d expect for a photographer. She gave useful input on timeline and bridesmaid dress colors (recommending the adorable mismatch). We actually had Nicole and her husband as the day of photographers. Their photography was every bit as beautiful as what’s on Samantha’s website. Our band even commented that Nicole’s eye was uniquely beautiful, and he’s seen many photographs! Samantha did a gorgeous job editing our photographs. Our friends and family frequently comment how stunning the pictures were. They’re true heirlooms that will help us remember our wedding forever. Could not recommend booking her enough!

We were instantly drawn to her light but colorful photography style, and our initial phone call really sealed the deal when we realized how sweet, friendly, and supportive Samantha was. We felt like she was genuinely interested in getting to know us (as opposed to other teams that made us feel like just another paycheck). She was consistently responsive and professional throughout our wedding planning process.

During our engagement session and our wedding, Samantha (and her second shooter, Jess at the wedding!) made these two camera-shy people feel comfortable and fairly natural in front of the camera. Though our engagement photo location wound up being used by countless high schoolers for prom photos the same evening, she calmly navigated to other areas in the garden such that they were barely a disruption. Her prompts kept us laughing, and her positivity and energy brightened our day.

Our photos themselves will be treasured for a lifetime. She expertly captured such beautiful memories for us. We're really struggling to decide which photos to display in our house because we love all of them so much. Samantha is just absolutely incredible all-around.

Booking Samantha was one of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding! Samantha was the backbone of our wedding and made sure that the day ran smoothly and every single precious moment was captured. From the moment I saw Samantha on our wedding day, I was calm and knew that we were in the best hands. Samantha was so patient, especially with my younger sister who has Down Syndrome and the pictures that she captured of the two of us are priceless. Samantha’s work is incredible and speaks for itself. Her images are realistic (captured the colors of the day perfectly) but also incredibly dreamy. I was blown away when we received our gallery!! The details and portraits were stunning but the candid shots that Samantha captured took my breath away. It has been so much fun to relive the emotions of our wedding day by looking through her incredible work. Samantha was amazing to work with - always responsive, organized, detailed and so kind. I cannot recommend Samantha enough!! I can’t wait to work with her again one day when we have a family of our own.

We ADORE Samantha and had the best time working with her for our wedding. We did an engagement shoot prior to the wedding which was a great way to get acclimated to being photographed. Samantha and her 2nd shooter Jess brought such great energy/enthusiasm to our engagement shoot and had fun little games to help make the photos less posey which was one of the criteria we were looking for when hiring a photographer (ability to capture natural movement, emotions, etc). The photos turned out beautifully. The whole experience made us so excited to see them again for the wedding and we can’t wait to see how the photos turned out! My husband is not a big fan of pictures of himself and even he enjoyed the process and I’m certain that is thanks to Samantha.
