I found Shannon through my venue as they had photo books of her work on display. Flipping through them, my husband and I knew immediately that we needed to work with her. Shannon exceeded every single expectation we had for a photographer for our wedding. She was always so prompt and easy to talk to leading up to everything. We worked with her for our engagement session and she made everything so easy and fun and made us both so relaxed.
On the wedding day, Shannon and Andrew were an absolute dream to work with. They know how to get the most amazing shots- and were so quick at it too! We were able to get all photos done pre-ceremony which allowed our bridal party and my husband and I to enjoy our entire cocktail hour with our guests which was truly so special. They brought such a fun energy to our wedding and our guests raved about them the entire night of how sweet they were.

Shannon and Andrew were phenomenal from the start. Shannon made sure to connect with us personally, check in to make sure wedding planning was going smoothly (including the cutest care package), and worked with us to make sure we stayed within our budget by allowing us to work outside her preset packages. Day of, Shannon was my right hand woman, helping with my veil, my heels, my bustle. Literally everything. And our pictures were breathtaking, truly. Book Salt and Stone, you won't regret it.

Shannon and Andrew were both absolutely amazing for our October wedding! They captured all the special moments perfectly, and efficiently organized the family/ wedding party photos so that we could focus on enjoying the day. Shannon was such a calming presence on our wedding day- I wasn’t worried at all because I knew she would take care of everything and they were both so professional throughout the entire process. The pictures came out absolutely stunning- they are truly amazing at what they do! They picked the perfect timing for sunset photos which were so fun to take (especially with the fall leaves)! I can’t wait to see how the heirloom album turns out- I can’t recommend this duo enough!! I will cherish what they’ve created forever.

I used Shannon & Andrew for our wedding + engagement photography after RAVE reviews (and witnessing it firsthand myself!) at my sister’s wedding. Shannon is more than just a photographer- she is an unofficial honeymoon advisor, wedding vendor aficionado, friend, day-of coordinator…and everything in between! We are not super “posey” people - for our wedding + engagement photos, Shannon (and Andrew!) made it so fun and made us feel SO at ease in front of the camera. She worked with us the month before to help build our wedding timeline to ensure PLENTY of time is allowed for, and there is no rushing around on your day. You can tell she is a true professional and has done this several times/ knows what works best. As far as her photos/our wedding album, we were stunned by the VARIETY of photos (she was eager to do multiple stops during our couple photos and we are SO happy we did- so many DIFFERENT photos to choose from) - as well as the quality of photos!!! Our memories behind taking the photos themselves are ones filled of laughing, and felt like just hangin’ with a few friends too. Finally, I’d like to mention how incredibly organized, and great at leading Shannon is. When it came down to family photos, wedding party photos - she truly knows how to command a crowd and does it in a way that does not make ANYONE stressed out or uncomfortable. Shannon is a true natural at this and I cannot recommend her and Andrew enough!!! (Note - Andrew is her husband who is the BEST as well and made my husband feel as least awkward as possible especially during the groom solo shots lol) - and to add, thank you Andrew for grabbing us drinks + cocktails left and right during the cocktail hour/photo madness LOL.

Shannon photographed our wedding and our engagement shoot and was amazing - both personally and professionally. She really took the time to get to know us and was so much fun to have with us on our wedding day. Shannon sent us the wedding photos so quickly too! They are absolutely beautiful and really capture how special and fun our wedding day was. We highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Shannon! From the first phone call I knew I wanted Shannon to capture our wedding day. She is kind, thoughtful, detail oriented and so organized. I felt comfortable asking her anything. When the weather forecast showed rain for the wedding day she helped me brainstorm ideas to take pictures in between the ceremony and reception and reassured me everything would still be beautiful. She created a perfect wedding timeline that allowed me to coordinate with all of the other vendors. On the day of she was so on top of everything and accommodated all of my photo requests. When the strong winds started to mess up my hair a little she was right there to help me fix it. Even though it was raining we still went to the park to take pictures and had the bridal party stay on the trolley so it was just my husband and I and those photos and those moments were some of my favorite parts of the day. Shannon got every detail and I could not have been happier that she was there to capture my day! All of the photos were stunning, making it hard to pick favorites! 10/10 recommend Shannon as a photographer! Thank you for everything!

I planned my Newport wedding from abroad (booked the venue without seeing it, booked vendors without in-person meetings, etc.) Shannon helped me make sure I was making great choices that aligned with my vision. She fit in everything I dreamed of into our timeline - first look photos at the beach, around Newport, at a mansion -- and was so much fun to be around as we hit every spot. During the wedding, I was able to enjoy myself while she still managed to get every shot I requested.

Shannon photographed our wedding in July 2022 in Newport, RI. She did the most amazing job and my husband and I are completely blown away by the pictures! They are beautiful and timeless, and still have the ability to bring back all the emotion we were feeling in that moment that she captured!!
