Salt and Light Photography was born from Rachel Holt’s love for serving others and the art of photography. In 2007, Rachel shot her first wedding, fell in love with photography, and hasn’t stopped serving happy couples like you ever since. In 2010 Austin officially joined the Salt and Light team. He not only leads the business side of things, but also brings a talented, unique, and fun aspect to your wedding experience. He grew up watching his Father in the film industry and also offers a distinct video background to provide yet another means to capture your special day. Through their experience in planning their own wedding, Austin & Rachel realized the great need for exceptional photographers who go the extra mile and also understand how to provide you with a stress-free experience. Today, Salt & Light is one of Kansas City’s premier wedding and portrait photographers with countless weddings shot in the past 6 years. Both Austin and Rachel are published photographers who strive to consistently deliver quality work, and treat their clients like family.
