Amazing salon! I've tried a lot of famous and high-end salon in Miami, and Salon Vaso is definitely the best one! The stylists are all so talented, knowledgeable and friendly. They also have fantastic hair products that work like magic on my difficult curly hair.

In May, Mark Holloway styled my hair and applied makeup for my wedding. He was talented and gracious. He got up for a 7 am Sunday morning appointment – we had a morning wedding – and handled the appointment with skill and humor. He worked with my hair texture for a durable, elegant style. I got lots of compliments all day. My favorite part of working with him, though, was his kindness to my grandmother. He styled her hair the day before and made her feel like a queen. His talent is worth choosing him for; his kindness makes him the right choice.

I had my makeup done at Salon Vaso. They were initially so very nice to me and had me come in for a trial so that I could decide on whether I wanted to have air-brushed makeup (my actual reason for choosing the salon) or traditional makeup. The employees offered to have me come in for complimentary eyebrow threading and anything else I needed for my big day - which I thought was very nice. They also had advertised a special on airbrushing and I thought I had won a prize with everything that was being offered to me.

Unfortunately, when it came time to pay as I was walking out to my ceremony, all of those promises had disappeared. They charged me more than twice what they had initially quoted me at (probably to pay for the trial/threading). I didn't even come in for the additional threading I was promised because I felt uncomfortable receiving complimentary services but they charged me for it. I was ready to give the gentleman who did my makeup a huge tip for being so kind but I ended up not being so excited about the makeup. He did a great job and I still left him the large tip to make a point (albeit a silent one to myself) that I wasn't upset because I was cheap - I just felt it was dishonest. I obviously wasn't going to not pay or argue as I was leaving for my wedding but I have not gone back.

As far as flexibility goes, they were not very flexible at all and forced me to leave my hair dressing appointment to get my makeup done and then return quickly to my hairdresser to finish.
